Good, I'm still salty about trombones only ever getting background bass parts when there were a couple of songs where the Baritone players got melody parts. I'll never stop being salty about it, ever since that one time I played my friend's baritone for funsies because it used the same mouthpiece and discovered that it sounds ALMOST THE SAME as the trombone, but is BY FAR easier to play. It felt like learning a game on Hell difficulty and then playing the tutorial on Easy >:( it was high school so we weren't even given parts that used the main unique feature of the trombone: the slide. No sliding from one note to the next, that would've been too fun. I'm mainly salty because music class caused me extreme stress and panic attacks plus 2/4 'boners sitting next to me were AWFUL at it and I'm overly sensitive to pitch so I could hear them playing the wrong notes or only playing close to the right ones (speaking of, this game hurts to hear because the trombone isn't perfectly on key even when played "perfectly"). And I had such bad anxiety that I started thinking I was the one playing badly, so when I'd bring it home to practice I'd end up having a panic attack when I went to play because I was scared I'd find out that it WAS me the whole time who was off. Which is ridiculous since I could clearly see out of the corner of my eye the two people fumbling their slide positioning. But anxiety isn't rational, that's the whole point of it

@@Tufhhuyy The meter overflowing off screen IS definitely funny, I will grant this. I do agree that it's probably deliberate to not make the scoring system too tryhard, especially since at release short notes were basically impossible to perfecto (though that's since been improved)

@Jakob 🎵 it’s not necessarily because the tuning in the game is bad, it’s just really difficult for the user to make the pitch to be perfect every time, u can tell based on how star spangled banner sounded compared to others or the through the fire and flames tool assisted play through

I love this game, but I really hope the devs fix the judgment system for short toots. The faster songs feel borderline impossible to S rank even when playing in perfect rhythm. The Mexican song in particular took me so many attempts because of those damn triplets. Feels like it’s basically rng whether I get them or not. Even Old Gray Mare took me a ton of tries because I always drop my combos on the slurs for some reason.
