I like this... but... How do you use these (I know, dumb question)? Do you practice the scale while listening to it? Thanks for your videos.

You play long tones, scales, exercises, etudes, music, etc. while playing these to work on your intonation. Many professionals use drones to play along with and improve playing in tune! Depending on which key you're in, each note of the scale should "ring" and "lock in" when you are in tune. Having drones made by a trombone sound is a little nicer because the timbre is very nice to blend with! Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

Are the drones the same in every octave ? I want a drone to hear 6-7th partials ...is matching the pitch good for a registers ?

Yes they are; I used auto pitch correction on each octave just to be sure. Octaves in this drone are pedal bb, low bb, and middle bb
