I really want to try this, what size are you using? I cannot afford a Wycliffe, but if there's a standard-sized trombone mouthpiece that'll fit inside a trumpet, I'd like to get one!

You need a trumpet with a larger bore, and a 12C mouthpiece, which is the standard beginner size should fit just barely. Won't be stable though so make sure you don't shake your trumpet too much.
