In Cyprus the term "river" is temporary, When the mountain snow melts they drain the water to the sea but there are no permanent rivers anywhere on the island,

Ignore the Myth, Cyprus is a great place to live. At Troodos you can snow ski in winter and in less than 1 hour water ski on a beach near Limassol. Yes, i have done it.

Excellent video. Disappointing the geologists don't speak English. By the time one has read the sub-titles (which as a translation may not do justice to the original speech), time to see the geology being referred to is difficult.
