My ma told me this the only song she listened to when my dad died. My mom died yesterday so now I'm here 😔😔.......I read all of yalls replies thank yall for the support every last one of you. my parents married right after high school. its crazy becasue i knew nothing about my dad till the last month of my moms life. she just broke down and finally told me about him. he did 6 months after i was born in a freak accident at work. never seen a picture of him up intil my early 20s. idk the world just feels different once your safety nets/ comforters are gone. that type of love you'll never feel again from another human being. i hope to see them again one day when this is all said and done. again thank you all love you all💓

@@christonyoung9436 You're not wrong, but I always grade in the fact that without the J5 original as a basis, Troop's version would be different. They even duplicated most of Michael's riffs in the song. And the arrangement added some nice updates. In the end, I do consider it a top level cover. My favorite song by them.

This was me and my ex husbands wedding song. I was 17, him 18. We obviously met in highschool. We had a baby on the way, I was so scared, this song gave me hope of true love. It ended up ending in divorce- but I still come to listen to this sometimes, because listening to it is literally like taking a time machine back to that time, when I was young and so full of hope for our future. Glad so many others cherish it too!

This is one of those few occasions where the remake almost matches the original. Troop did make the song even more iconic. This goes into category of remakes that few have made it in. There's Luthor and several remakes(Superstar & Creepin' just to name TWO) Whitney(I Will Always Love You) and Troop(All I Do is Think of You).

You know what's crazy? My introduction to this song was as a 16 year old, via Troop's version. I have fond memories of thinking about high school crushes with this song in my head. 😻 When I heard the Jackson's version about 15 years later, I realized why they covered it.
