It's gotten to the point where police who try and make people do their jobs right and maybe have a good time are ganged up on or disagreed with. If you're a cop you literally have NOTHING to lose if the criminal gets away. But if a criminal gets caught all of their progress disappears. People may hide behind the whole RP'ng as a cop means you have to act like one argument but it's become so undeniably clear that a good amount of officers just want the power and the feeling of winning. It's a motherfucking game. If you're a cop you're basically one level lower than an admin in terms of power.

At that point, why can't you just become a vigilante? It's actually simpler and makes sense from a gameplay perspective. Plus you can have the feeling of winning and have a sense of power over the criminals. What I am saying is that, why can't there be a vigilante RP? that would draw all of the power hungry players to one thing.

@@c0nc3ntr8d6 too much escalations from both sides has deteriorated the server. cops started with bullshit like this instance, then mg dump seasons started, cops got bailed out of them and did the same shit again, the cycle continued, admins made magdump seasons bannable so crim's ability to "vent" disappeared, cops keep slowly escalating, crims reacting and escalating even more to the point that most crims started to say fuck it and killing cops almost every time, and cops doing the same the other way around... a good cop like snow turned straight shit for being in this gas lighty and trash environment...

Police officers entire purpose is to de-escalate every situation. If the racers are being forceful then the police officers need to use the tools that they have to get them out of their cars WITHOUT ESCALATING TO SHOOTING THEM. That's why they have interceptors, that's why they have spike strips, that's why they have all these tools to stop people without shooting them. And yet they resort to shooting 9 times out of 10. And Snows right, the racers will always respond in kind with what the officers have demonstrated they will do. So if the officers continue to shoot at the drop of a dime the racers will continue to ram them off the road. It's just gonna end up being a huge 'lets get a W' cluster fuck.

They could probably solve it better if they weren't as limited by SOP unit caps, the only way to de escalate in these sort of scenarios is to assign more units to compensate for one's being taken out by ramming, accidental or not.

Then just become a vigilante. They aren't meant to de-escalate situations. It can be argued that they escalate situations. Plus it would be nice to see the police have to deal with another and more dangerous faction that both the crims and pd agree to both take down.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Martell is one of those cops that has too much power and doesn’t know how to read a room. Snow is probably one of the most level headed and fair cops on the force and will even shoot when he deems it necessary. But he also understands that the W is in the content and the story of RP but we all know Martel is not smart enough in rp to understand that
