This is really a great info about the troops.. you don't need to watch any other vlog about troops.. I have already suggested to my team to watch your vlogs especially this one.. did you state the Max level of troops? You did mention epic troops maxed to level 30. Thanks for you doing this and giving awesome suggestions of what to level up!! And loving the various headgear!! Looking forward to the next one!

Costume bonus also affects mana speed. You only need a level 5 mana troop to make an average speed costumed hero charge at fast speed (9 tiles.) It’s useful to get a mana troop to level 5 for each element, plus you can use those 1* feeder troops that don’t really make a dent on higher-leveled troops.

I like having the crit troops for fast and very fast heroes that have low defense stats. Mana and ninjas are definitely better but the crits can be useful.

I was just thinking about this, after saving all my tokens for ninja I ended up with a bunch of feeder and troops and had to figure it out, You're analysis is spot on, though I've made the call to keep 5 mana until I get ninja because the ninja default attack bonus is higher than the mana, so my perfect troop team will be 3 mana 2 ninja, if I ever get to that point. I would add that since POV often has increase the level of a troop associated with it I'll level up my 2 star troops for 3 star events. I will only level up 2 star attack troops, I keep 5 of them as well.

Thats true and a good way to go.you need 5 of 2* attack for each colour and get them to lvl 5 each for start

Interesting analysis, all the math I've seen shows that the crit troops do the most damage, even over ninjas. When running a mono team most of the damage is done by tiles you can see this during titan battles. Also leveling up your 2&3* attack troops help you do better in the monthly events. More damage = faster finish times. Again interesting ideas.

You’re not wrong, just depends on if you focus on tile damage or special fire rate. Good tiles trumps anything, but special charge rate is easier to predict. Many ways to approach the game.

Dose a crit troop make normal attack hit harder? It doesn't make special effects bigger ?

Crit Troops = Tile damage increase chance. If your looking for normal attack or special attack increase, look for heroes with either of those perks listed in their talent tree, special abilities and/or passive perks.

i have no fire mana troop after 3 years of playing. so it really depends on the kind of player you are... if you pay to win, spending in the troop portal is a good investment. but for ftp or ctp players like me, leveling what you get also improves your team. i have leveled a critical fire troop to 22. the extra critical hits vs telluria have come in really handy since march... and in the mean time i run HA 9 :-). it can take really long to get to 5 mana/color (which i'm very close to actually in every other color).

I am in a similar situation with Green. Years of playing, I have 6 4* critical troops. Ugh.

Hi man.Great video and editing.Gives all the important info.Only 1 thing is I think wrong,for 2* troops,if you aim for events ( rare ) and even tournament,attack is the best thing you need.So feeding away attack troops is a mistake.If you aim for a high score at events you need as much attack as you can get.Some players even go and max emblem their 3* heroes for theese.So feed away 2* def troops, not the attack ones.

Hey General. Good point. Maybe 1 of each, a def and an attack. As I mention though, I usually have a lot of extra 2 star options sitting around. The 2 star troops are pretty close to each other but I can see how +5% attack may be good.

@@MathHattan I get your point but heres the deal.For example,C Hawkmon,Namahage are heroes that are a lot used in events, Grevle and C Hawkmoon also for 3* tournaments.All theese heroes have a % increase on attack for all heroes.So you want more attack for more boost.On 2* troops you dont have an option for crit,mana gen,bypass or healing up.So basicly attack is the best option.Even if you use hetoes likd Nordri or C Brienne on titans.A great score on rare event is when enemy doesnt come even close to kill your heroes.So to get trough them all a high attack with troop,emblems and boost specials is needed.Im long time playing in top 100 alliances and have advice from some extra score event players.So basicly 2* def troops are not needed ( if you have a choice of attack ones ).The only situation where I use a 2* def troop is on rush or bloidy battle tournaments when I put them on a tank,just to get that bit of def and hp for more survivability.Btw I have to say your channel is the best I saw so far for newer or begginer players.For last month or two I usualy watch only yours and 1 more channel that has info for higher lvl players.I think you provide a great tool for all the communuty 👍

Thanks my critical troops were all level 13 before I learned mana was what helped win battles, now I have one critical and mana for each element lol. Slowed me down but I can double up colors and not worry about mana for slow

Happens to a lot of folks early in the game. No worries, use your crit troops for Titan attacks and color stacking attack teams for the extra shot at tile damage.

Great video...but I have a question that might be hard to answer. This is why I'm looking into troops right now. So the simple question is how do troops stack in the arena? To clarify: If I go into a raid with 3 of whatever color...we know the troops (match 3) are doing more damage than a single color hero on the board. So if I have 2 troops at high level and 1 at low level how does that affect game play, same with all 3 troops being high level - or all three being low level. Is the "color stacking" also "troop stacking" for much greater damage, or do the troops really only boost the stats of the hero?

Troops only boost the hero they are on. Tile damage stacking is just based on how many heroes of a particular element are on your team.
