It's a capitulation to centrists, telling them "you don't have to work for our vote at all, because no matter how bad your candidate is they will always be preferable to the far right's candidate." It's the "realistic" argument; leftist candidates aren't "realistic" options because centrists/moderates/liberals don't want a leftward shift, but they are fine with a rightward shift as long as it's not to rapid. Like boiling a frog by slowing turning up the heat. Thomas Paine had choice words about those people. MLK had similar ideas. It isn't the extremists that are the most dangerous threat to "democracy" (not that we get to participate in it in any meaningful way. We mostly just get to vote for who will sit on the thrones of power and represent the ruling class), but the centrists, the moderates that enable them. Where to?* Where would Israelis/Zionists "naturally grow" to, if there were equal neighbors, as a balanced power, which could actually stop any such Zionist settler "growth". The Jordan Valley, extends BOTH sides of the Jordan River. Now, I'm sure that was just another slip-up too, of people who don't understand simple geography. Whatever. It is fairly clear what they wanted, and there are historical examples for this: the "pool of cheap labor" within the own borders, as the concept of the "Bantustan" was for the RSA, given a little bit of "independence" to manage own affairs, but de facto/de jure powerless to stop the CONTROLLING power, intended to be Jerusalem, as Jweish capital city with the right to introduce permit laws, etc. It is literally what RSA did with their "Bantustans". Back then the people could not be fooled. They saw through the deceit, and rightfully called it out for what it was: just another Apartheid ploy to avoid the rise of political equals. *Sad reality? Today masses of fools are being mislead into praising Israel's attempted implementation of Apartheid as an attempt at peace, while at the same time denouncing a similar scheme actually implemented by the RSA in stages after WW2, as being bigoted/racist.*

Canadian military families have been backing away for nearly 10 years now. The previous government wasted money that was needed for new gear on stupid things like redesigning the uniforms and changing the names of the forces and the armed forces literally ran out of boots and sleeping bags. Meanwhile they jumped right in and attacked Libya with the rest of NATO. Then under Trudeau we stopped doing peacekeeping duties and followed the US as NATO became a purely offensive force hell bent on creating a war with Russia. He has restricted freedom of speech in Canada and is complicit in the genocide to the point where he is assisting Canadians to sign up for the IDF. The Canadian embassy over there even hosts parties for those IDF recruits. My entire extended family will have no part of this. We have one in the navy and one in the army and when they're done these terms, they are done. I wouldn't even join reserves now. This is why we are short 15k people in our armed forces.
