Yes they retired in September 2020 after being skating partners for 10years. Vanessa recently came out of retirement and is now skating for Canada with pairs skater Eric Radford after being released by France. Vanessa and Eric are aiming for the 2022 Olympics.

I don't feel Vanessa took advantage of Morgan however I do feel they both are missing each other as theirs was more than a bond, or connection but a love for what they have achieved and each other. I remember reading where Morgan said he took care of her on the ice and she took care of him off the ice so together they made it happen. We can not read minds and definitely can't read hearts but my heart believes there will Always be a Vanessa and Morgan in our hearts and minds. For me always love for these two!!

Well i love them both watching their viedos. V gave him a lot of affection on the Ice period! Always hugging and kissing on the cheek...So he had to admire all that affection. Morgan returned the affection in a vulnerable way/no one have to agree with me/this is my opinion. Men love that type of affection especially when fans encouraged it. She said in an interview that they decided to do that on the ice for their fans. It might have been on her FB page she stated that. Then another interview she said they decided to show their true feelings,and not try to be like anyone else on the ice. check out the "The Skating Lessons" interview with the two guys that interviewed them. It was a Candid interview. I loved it and will watch it again. I love them the short time i discovered the viedos put up on various KZbin Channels. For Me Feb 2023. Peace And Blesssing to them.
