The 2023 Ryder Cup is the 44th edition and runs between September 25 - October 1. Zach Johnson is the U.S. Team Captain and Luke Donald is the European Team Captain. The U.S. Team are the reigning champions after winning 19-9 at Whistling Straits in 2021. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.

Any player that even mentions getting payed to play in this great tournament should automatically never again be chosen to play for there team ! it's a great privilege to play in the Ryder cup ! And to be chosen is your payment ! When player's are long gone from the game and indeed on this planet ! There name will always be there etched in the record books in hundreds of years to come ! I recall watching the 1985 ryder cup as a 10 year old. Seve was magic and despite the excitement of all Ryder Cups they will just never recreate the magic of 1985 and 1987 in particular, and 1991 in Kiawah Island. Those years just won't be replicated. Seve was just a magical character and it was the beginning of the Ryder Cup as an intense rivalry. Looking at the joy and celebrations today just brings to mind Seve spraying the champagne at the Belfry. There isn't any other golf event like it

It could be Iona Stephen who is a former professional golfer and now host and broadcaster. She works with many golf channels such as GolfTV, Sky Sports Golf, the BBC and the NBC Golf Channel. Others were Di Stewart (Sky Sports T.V. All Star coverage) and Melissa Satta (Italian T.V.)
