Frothing yeeeeew normally they go white when it's dead so that's why you didn't get much of a change when you stabbed it cause it was already dead Down here in South Australia when I go squiding I get about 10+ squid each time I go with most of them around a 30cm hood you need to give squiding a shot when you are back in Australia and the best squid to fish for are southern squid
