TRE MEN DOS!!!!! después de un estado cercano al coma, debido al aburrimiento de las coreos tan parecidas año tras año, ésta ha logrado hacerme revivir después de un electro shock, Potentes, creativos, prolijos, impactantes, una musicalidad increíble, la mezcla musical impecable. Everything but the kitchen sink. Everything but Salsa Dance only Salsa music. The masses will buy anything. I suppose anything is acceptable on a stage in the name of creativity however this perhaps should remain in Vegas as a review show and not a show at a “Salsa” Congress.

why? i have seen it LIVE @Borovets...same exactly show...one of the best in the world...we went nuts and was my first salsa festival.. then learned what Tropical Gem is about... ITS DANCING on everything you got on the stage...spit it out flowing

@@gfanarakos it’s not salsa it’s a patchwork which is fine I suppose on the stage but it’s not Salsa. He corrupts the structure of the dance. What you are impressed with is execution of movement which any well trained dancer can do but you shouldn’t have to completely extinguish the style of dance to create something great. His work would be fine in a Vegas review which is about whatever goes for the show but make no mistake he does not conform to structure and characteristics of salsa dance. He thinks he can do whatever he wants and stomp out everything that makes Salsa dance great and what it is. At the very least he should keep it on the stage and not teach anyone who doesn’t have a strong foundation in the dance this way at least they understand that what he is teaching is not Salsa dance. In a show ok a dancer will and can take some creative license but why even call it a Salsa Dance performance when you intend to completely and wholeheartedly obliterate the dance style you claim to perform. It seems he is more passionate about other forms of dance than Salsa Dance. This is usually what tends to happen. If he was passionately mostly about Salsa dance he would not be doing what he’s doing. In the end I say ok if he wants to do this for entertainment and people enjoy it fine just don’t call it Salsa. Call it something else. And also don’t teach beginners or even intermediate dancers who don’t have a clue that you’re dancing a rhythm dance in phrases; your skipping over the base syncopation of the dance and you change the count of the break step when ever you feel it throwing your partner off the rhythm and having her overcompensate and rush her own movement because you are a self serving POS.

@@46foryounger so what is your point ?dancing is evolving...Dinosaurs reached their giant size due to evolution and lifetime and so is dancing. You can call it everything but ITS DANCING and salsa dance or Sosa has it. You think that Sosa or my own teacher does not know how to dance on clave or everything else.... Its evolution and salsa fuzion and this is passion to dance. Do you know Prince? Well that artist made his own genre using rock pop jazz and funk and nobody could categorize him and reach his levels on music. Think and be smart when comes to art
