Luckily, you two were home, not traveling, when the roof started leaking! Imagine how that story could’ve been told. As always, Thanks for the nice video! ❤

You are right! The roofing guy stopped the leak, and then it rained 2 days more. We would have come home to quite a mess. Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment. Cheers!

Great video Sue and Steve. So sorry about the leak but you lucked out with the roofer! I wouldn't have made it without coffee first thing in the morning. Now THAT would have been a catastrophe! No flooding in Surfside at all. We had sandbags around our fence. Better safe than sorry I guess.

Hey, great to hear that you guys up in Surfside are ok. We were considering going to the pier at Surfside to watch the ocean but figured it would be closed too, like the Garden City Pier. Hope the rest of your summer is a great one! Thanks for watching and for your comment!

Great vid. Loved the before and after shots. Those 2 hrs without coffee would have ended me. How did you survive?

It was tough! Sue and I were ready to drive around in the storm looking for an open Dunkin Donuts! Glad you liked the vid. As always, thanks for watching, and enjoy the weekend!

We are up off Freewoods Rd and luckily did not lose power. I was concerned Steve, when they call for possible 20 inches our local ditches would be overwhelmed. Fortunately the breaks between bands allowed drainage and despite 12+ inches of rain our area did very well.

I know what you mean... when we first heard 20 in. We're like wow! We're going to be underwater but thank goodness it was less. Thanks for watching. Thanks for leaving a comment. Cheers!
