Hi Craig, you and I seem to visiting the same gardens at the same time! I saw you at Abbotsbury a while back and I was at Trebah last week. What stood out for me apart from the tree ferns and Bamboo was the clump of yellow hedychiums near the bridge. You could smell them from the main path on either side of the stream. As to other gardens to visit, I'd recommend Lamorran near St Mawes. Only 4 acres set on a south facing slope down to the sea it has a very special micro climate which enables them to grow Citrus and bougainvillea outside all year round. The highlights for me were a large Jubea and a 7ft high plant to Tibouchina Urvilleana again happily growing and flowering outside all the year round. Almost like being at Tresco Abbey gardens! Well worth a visit. They around 200 palms of 35 different species. Well worth a visit.

Thank you for that wonderful tour over this amazing garden. I’m stunned by the sheer scale of the garden, it’s masterful design design and the quality of plants.. The tree ferns.. I’m speechless. Thank you for sharing ❤

Personally, Lamorran garden is my favourite garden in the UK. St Mawes, Cornwall. Palms, ferns, flowers, dense planting, feels like another world.

This is definitely an exotic garden that is amazing. Currently one of my favorite innovative gardens is Great Dixter.

The bridge with the hydrangea - stunning! & definitely Monet adjacent. This place is shockingly beautiful. It’s a marvel to see the subtropical really mature plants in a place that I always think of as cold. I’m in the US but one suggestion- I saw another video of a Biodome Garden which I think was in the north. The timing of her video did. It feature the garden at a very good point - I would like to see it again. TY for featuring this place that I did. Not know. Going to see some of your other productions. 😊

The scale of the Gunneria certainly give the garden a 'through the looking glass' atmosphere. I think the flowering ginger is Hedychium flavescens, yellow ginger. And thank you for the virtual tour.

I was in awe of this garden when I went in summer 2022. Wife and kids werent quite as excited as me! The Gunnera was probably the stand out most impressive feature but the winding paths and sheltered nature of the site with the various water features really makes it feel complete. I went there instead of Heligan as couldn't do both, so maybe you can do a tour of that too! 😊

Watching from Australia 🇦🇺 here. Thanks for taking me back to Trebah. I was lucky enough to visit last May. Missed the hydrangeas flowering unfortunately so I’d like to revisit when they are next time. Cheers!

it would be great if you can visit the native range of some exotic plants in the future, you will be amazed by how much you can find. ive seen in plant hunting blogs theres photos of alocasias , colocasias, setaria and bamboos etc...growing on top of some mountains in asia(that experience winter frost every year) yet we dont see them for sell in any nurseries. i wonder how many cold hardy varieties are still yet to be discovered. you also have your own nursery maybe you can introduce new cultivars to other gardeners through your nursery.

You should try to get to Tresco Abbey Gardens in the Scilly Isles. I wanted to last May but the weather turned & scuppered my plans.

I'll check your videos in case you've been there, but Lamorran House Garden is about as good as it gets for it's size. Trewithen Gardens is good for some massive and unusual hygrangeas and rhododendrons etc, but I would say worth it only if you're in the area. In Norfolk East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens are also amazing.
