Loved the Tropicana... I stayed in the one bedroom suite last September 2022 and it was amazing... nothing but ocean view... All expenses paid for an union conference. Treated like a queen. I didn't need to leave the hotel it had EVERYTHING inside of it! But of course I had to go on the famous boardwalk for the first time. TFS Be Blessed.

Great video Jennifer. Too many people just love to complain these days. It almost seems that they go in with a negative attitude, and just look for things that they can complain about. I have stayed in Tropicana on numerous occasions, and as long as the room is clean, and the bathroom is clean, you won't get any complaints from me. This is not a luxury resort, so people shouldn't expect a 5 star experience. Tropicana has a nice location right on the Boardwalk, plenty of shops and restaurants, and a huge casino. What else can a person want?

I ve stayed in all of the towers. I absolutely love the Trop. I love T & T s happy hour (if they still have it) Boogie Nights is so much fun! The comedy club was great. I love the beach vibe there. I want to go!!!

Went to the trop on Halloween now I’m going in March for a concert. I really like the trop. A best kept secret at the trop is the Chelsea 5 gastropub. They have steak and eggs for 12.99 and it’s good. Also prime rib night on thursdays and sundays. The imax theater has a full bar now too.

My family have always taken a trip down to AC to vacation, and up until recently, it was always Trump taj majal. But when they remodeled to make hard rock, we needed a new place in the meantime. So for the past few years it was Tropicana, and honestly it’s been amazing. Great atmosphere, restaurants, and I’ve really enjoyed it. The only bad memory was right after COVID was winding down, we tried to valet but you had to be a “platinum card holder” or some bs so we just parked. Overall, that’s the only complaint, everything else has been amazing. Thanks for the video tour 👍

My wife and I having been staying at Trop regularly for many years now. Havana Tower has some of the nicest rooms. North and South Towers are closest to the casino floor. Chelsea Tower is out of the way and the rooms are just OK. West tower is known as the "party tower" and can be noisy and crowded. Most rooms are fine even though some show a little age. Also, I think most TA reviewers that give bad reviews stay when it's very busy (summer, weekends holidays etc). We avoid staying there during these times. The only problem with that is some places are likely going to be closed. They are adding something like 8 new restaurants and bars. You can't beat the variety at Trop. Our favorite time to stay is in the winter when you can put your coat away for a couple of days and know you have everything you need under one roof.

The Gastro Pub in Chealse Tower was quite good for breakfast and lunch when I went last year during mid week. Also stayed in West Tower, South Tower, and the North Tower. Both West and north towers were fine, the south tower was a bit shabby.

I really like the Trop. Good variety of places to eat, drink, gamble and a decent sports book. Very lively. I've stayed in all the towers but Chelsea. Some of the rooms could use some TLC, but if you get their players card and gamble a little you shouldn't have to pay full price and will usually get the room compd if it's during the week. So take advantage and enjoy! Edit. If you gamble enough to get 10 tier credits, about $50 worth of spins, with the card you can swipe it at a kiosk and get a voucher for free parking.

We stayed at the Trop in the better days. Diamond Jims, Fiesta Buffet. Party Harty. The real good thing left is Carmines. In the good old days they had top performers and shows. New Years Eve parties.🎊

Hi al the restaurants in quarter are excellent Carmines is our favorite. Not sure if boogie night is open now great disco music dance floor is small so plan to just stay for awhile unless you like close crowds ..we use to go on weekends but now we're older and like weekdays I don't like cheaper towers too open and use to be a motel before Tropicana bought it a few years ago and renovated it but I don't like it bacon is are too close and walls tooo thin

Casa Taco is great. Next time you visit get one of their chicken fahitas. They are so delicious. Enjoyed your video. I have stayed in west and south towers. I come out by bus trip. Both were great. Trop is a nice place.

I Purchased a folding mobility scooter and used it to get around in Tropicana, Caesars, and Resorts in the same day and never got tired of walking around, It took the load off my feet.

I liked your video. You definitely have to stay on a weekend to get the full Trop experience. I went last weekend and it was sooo busy! This is February, too :) South Twr is my go-to. It’s always very clean. Havana Twr is also pretty good. I stayed in the West Twr 1x and I was disgusted that they’d even be selling those rooms. There were even holes in the walls. Large holes and huge scuff marks on the wall. I was amazed and I’ll never do that again. Gilchrist for breakfast is amazing (pancakes). So is Chelsea 5 Gastropub for lunch/dinner. The Burger Bar is another one of my faves for dinner. I’ve always had a pleasant experience at Trop, but I must say that the pot odor can get annoying when you’re trying to sleep at night. It’s always strongest in the West Twr. South is a runner-up lol. Overall though, AC is close to my house and I get comps at Caesars properties. So, I stay at the 3 Caesars casinos or HardRock. Trop is my go-to bc of restaurant variety. Staying a night in March and seeing The Batman in IMAX. Can’t wait!

@@JenniferSparksSavoy I haven’t heard that about the West Twr, but here’s hoping lol. I like Wheel of Fortune, but they’ve taken 3 of my fave slots away in the past year or 2. There’s only 1 WOF I like now, so I understand about slot selection. Yea, I went when they first opened up after Covid and the business hours were really funky and still kinda are. Almost all of them didn’t open until 4 before. Have fun! Hard Rock is def as good as Trop for food and entertainment. Going in August to Hard Rock for the VanGogh exhibit hopefully!

@@JenniferSparksSavoy i really havent heard alot about this place because we usally only stay at ocean or the nugget..so i went on trip advisor (which i write reviews in as well) and yelp. i do realize you gotta take alot of these reviews with a grain of salt at times but, i gotta say there are 99% scaving reviews of the unrenovated chelsea tower (typical caesars running casinos into the ground) and the west tower is still a dump according to reviewers. long time trop goers arent as happy with trop since caesars has taken over as i saw just about every other reviewer say that!! so nope, the chelsea tower nor the west tower have been renovated!! caesars should be ashamed of these bad reviews!! cheers guys.. have fun in vegas!

Enjoy your spirit, and open mindness. I hate when people complain about loud noises, as if the place is supposed to be a library. It's not as bad as Vegas overall. I also never understand why people sink their money into slots.Give yourself a better chance to win and have more fun playing blackjack.Offseason,'s slow in AC, but cheaper, and more comps given out. Havana tower all the way. Gastropub is awesome with the views and the mimosas. The taco place is also pretty good. My one big complaint is that it is so loud, especially in the summer time when it is filled with bachelor, bachelorette, divorce, new job, birthday, parties.

HI Jennifer. Remember to ask for Havana towers. Rooms on the 03 Like 5803. Even an 02 and suite 01 stay in that corner if you can im not sure of the numbers but if I remember I think goes from 5303 to 6803 but ask for highest number room with 03 I sure miss going also Carmines might still have lunch specials not sure now like I mentioned food is delicious and even if portions are large just get one and share if your not doing a lunch special bring mom and auntie along too have them stay close to you as I think going to other towers way too far for seniors as I'm a senior and know I don't want to walk too far all over the place like we use too 😘🎉. I don't know if you go there often always get a players card and if you can get a host that's good also as they have parties on weekend at times you might enjoy

I have stayed at the Tropicana so many times it is like my second home. I have never had a problem with checking in manually at the desk as they didn't have the kiosk back in the day and well even now I prefer the personal touch. I think the Tropicana's check in moves faster than most and think Harrah's is the worst for how long it takes to check in. They are both Caesars properties now which happened recently and actually have not stayed there since they took over so it is nice to see your video of it now. I stayed in the North Tower rooms the most but think I have been in every tower at Tropicana. I never had a problem with any of the rooms. Stayed in the Havana rooms a lot as well. I think the best room with that panoramic view like you mentioned was in the South Tower where the windows wrap all the way around almost in a semi circle and the view is amazing but only stayed in the South Tower a few times. I remember the good old days when there were no resort fees and parking was only $2.00. One of the reasons I don't stay at the Tropicana now is that $10.00 parking fee. All in all I would have to say Tropicana is my favorite with the Quarter and Imax and so many other things to do. They have a great new sportsbook now as well. Nice choice of places to eat at the Tropicana. Watching this video of yours has me thinking that I need to plan a trip and stay at the Tropicana soon. So many good memories at the Trop for me. I stayed at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The room at Mandalay I stayed in was far above any room you could stay at in the Tropicana. Just my opinion but once again never had a complaint about any of the rooms at the Trop. It can be noisy especially in the summer or weekends with night life and Trop is kind of a party place but I think you could say that about all the casinos during those times. I stayed at the Chelsea Hotel when it first opened as a stand alone boutique hotel and now it is part of Trop. That is a very long story and I have gone on way too long for this comment.

Oh that’s wonderful Tropicana is one of my favorites. It’s so big you don’t even have to leave lol I have stayed at and enjoyed the Havana tower. As I mentioned in the video it is the farthest from the casino. With that being said it’s quieter too and also closer to parking. There is a kiosk for check in right there when you arrive. If you want to speak to someone at the desk you would need to walk to the north tower. That’s where the resort check in is. West tower is the most centrally located to everything I don’t like it as much. North tower and south tower are the closest to the casino. My friend Jeff from the NU Yawk channel has videos of those rooms I believe. I have never stayed in those. Hope this helps! Have a blast!

We were there in September we stayed in Havana Tower we had a really good time we were leaving I put $20 in the slot machine on the way out the door and hit for 550 so it was a really good trip the only bad thing a lot of bums down that end of the boardwalk at night in summer probably not bad in the winter

Hi Jennifer. Havana towers is best place as you don't have to walk far from garage best rooms are top floors with numbers 5803 and up on that side 01 suite or 02 ..Carmines is good for two people we ate there often you don't have to order but one plate and share its ok. Order a drink or ice tea many restaurants to chose from as you can see and you don't have to walk a mile or go up those high escalators I'm not into that hard rock gives me a headaches when you were in Tropicana I noticed there was hard rock music did you put that in so hard to hear what your saying with music in background for breakfast do room service very good or be first in line at any of the restaurants that open at 11:30 am ..true the Chelsea was a real dumpy motel till was renovated but I still wouldn't stay there as well as the other towers. Havana is best on every count

Yes sometimes I have to put music over the music they are playing which can drown out my voice it’s tricky making casino videos and not be troubled my copy right claims. Still working on the best balance or taking at dif times. Ok I’ll try carmines I thought that was more for bigger parties.. good to know! I def loved Havana as well. My room view was amazing! Hi! It’s pretty far. It’s a very nice walk tho you are going by restaurants and a mall type of retail strip before you hit any casinos. I don’t mind it at all but if you are spending most of your time in the casino it may be troublesome

Havanna Tower is the one with the dome on the roof. The west tower is next to it. The north and south towers are the original towers, closest to the boardwalk. The Chelsea Tower was the former Chelsea Hotel. It was purchased by Tropicana a few years ago, and that's when the walkway was construted. The main check in for the hotel is the one that's under the casino floor. It's the huge one. That's where the valet parking is as well. Their are additional check ins at the Havannah tower and Chelsea tower. There are 2 pools, the one at the Chelsea tower and the one at the south (or is it north) tower. That's a larger one. Not all the rooms at the North tower overlook the casino! most of them face the ocean or have ocean views. West tower rooms are mostly basic rooms, designed for the young adults that party. They have faux wood floors, hardly any furniture, old drapes, and a very small flat screen tv. They are the rooms that management doesn't care if the drunks throw up in LOL. The other rooms in west tower are OK, but they are very old fashioned. I heard the entire west tower is being renovated.

West is the worst You aren't a gambler Havana is close to parking an the quarter but it's the furthest from the casino. The problem with the parking is not finding parking it's getting to it you're there in the winter there's nobody there in the summer those four elevators leading to the parking garage and when you check out it takes hours to get up to your car And people complain about the chicken because that's not really the check-in the check-in is a mile away and you could check in earlier now they're saying you can't check in till 5:00 there and it's always a madhouse at the front desk a mile away from the parking the North Tower is good if you're going to a show or a concert because it's near the arena

Don't go by what others say. You only know based on your experience. I'll wait. Try a craps table. I have a Total Rewards card. In Atlantic City it is valid at Caesars, Bally's, Harrah's, and Showboat. Never stayed at Tropicana. My late wife only wanted to stay at the Trump Taj. It was a very nice hotel and Donald Trump was an innovator. You should see sunrises and sunsets from a cruise ship. I saw this one and noticed I have not seen this one before. So, I watched it. Don't like to stay at Atlantic City on weekends. Have a Total Rewards card. May have to trade it in for a newer card. Don't know if I would stay at the Tropicana. Bally's might be better. They have a good assortment of slot machines. Deli's are good. Liked Harvey's at the Trump Plaza. Tropicana sure expanded. Bring your own wine glasses from home? Congrats on the wins on the slot machine. If I drove down I'd probably want Valet Parking. It's safer. Resort Fee does not include parking. I think I found a bus that goes from near here to Atlantic City. Also, found a bus that goes to a hotel/casino in PA.

@@harlanabraham7772 We received a free cruise from Ballys on any carnival cruise up to 7 Days. It’s not my favorite line but I choose a ship thats leaving from NYC to Canada. I liked the itinerary and the boat wasn’t made for carnival it’s very elegant from a Italian cruise line. Think it’s called Costa? Anyhow looks beautiful but I’m with you on that I don’t really care about the room or food I like the sunsets and sunrises! I find cruising a nice mental escape :)

@@JenniferSparksSavoy The Total Rewards Card is an old card. It is from the '90;s or the early 2000's. It has Bally's, Caesars, Harrah's, and Showboat from Atlantic City on it. From Las Vegas you have the above hotel/casinos plus The Flamingo, and Paris. Caesars used to own the Rio in Las Vegas, but, they sold it. They also own Harrahs and Harveys on the South Side of Lake Tahoe. At one time I played so much at those casinos I got choices on where I wanted to go. My wife liked having those options.

@@JenniferSparksSavoy Carnival is one of the better cruise lines. The food is good and they have lots of activities. I think they even have a camp for your kids. Carnival was the first cruise line to have a 24-hour restaurant. The Pizzeria. Also 24-hour soft serve ice cream. Play in the casino.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. Went in April and tried to check in and was told my room wouldn’t be ready till 8pm. I was like what? She said oh we can get you a room at the south tower ( forgot the name) but it looked like I was wearing Beetlejuice’s suit with the stripes. They wouldn’t give me a discount or anything. The room was as old as AC and the agent was rude. Thankfully Expedia gave me a $75 coupon for my troubles which I’m using at the end of the month to stay at the Hard Rock.

Yikes I’m sorry you had such a bad time at Tropicana. I’ve been so lucky I’ve always had really nice places to stay there hard rock I prefer the north tower rooms. If you haven’t been there, the rooms are a little nicer and a little bigger in the bathrooms are gorgeous it’s just a little bit more of a walk to the lobby, casino, and restaurants.
