You hit the nail on the head when it comes to attendance; location, location, location. Not only would attendance be higher if they moved the stadium into the downtown area (Ybor) from people within the city going to the game, you would also have a higher pull rate from the surrounding areas like Land o Lakes, New Tampa, even as far as Ruskin or Lakeland. The fact that the stadium, with traffic, it almost an hour from the city's major hub is a huge problem.

I guess it’s fun to hate something if it’s trendy. Most of your takes are false. It takes 15min from DT Tampa to DT Stpete, the catwalks haven’t really been a issue in the last 8yrs. there’s 4bridges to get to pinellas county.

Even with no traffic it takes almost 30 minutes to get from DT Tampa to DT St. Pete.
