The mandarin actually got problem due to context. 尊重/尊敬/敬佩/敬仰 are all words for respect depending on context. Sacrifice goat is actually a form of 供品 because it's for the gods. Wrong to use base meaning 牺牲。so 奉献is the word for 'positive' sacrifice....unless you're PETA. 婚姻宣誓 declaration of marriage aka solemnisation. 婚礼仪式 is customary, the whole wedding process.
