Forgive me if im wrong but, another way to get revolutionary support is to build the newspaper and set its mode to "The independant" which makes your citizens have a chance to convert to revolutionaries, if you find waiting around for the tasks to be too time consuming mandate wise

Not sure if Pirates is just a game mechanic or just the game attempt to annoy you into jumping to the next Era. Since Colonial Era is a great era to gain like lots of money, you can milk this era for like 1 million cash but the Pirate attacks gets more and more annoying.

diagree on always revolutionaries for reward pick. do blue prints first then revolutionaries. with newspapers to offset the difference

In the sandbox settings before you start the map, you can set the frequency of pirate attacks bro. I think you missed it

Thank for your videos! I recently got this game through PC Gamepass. I am a big fan of Anno, CitySkylines, and other RTS/Stratagy/City Builders and had this game on my radar but never bought it. I did all the tutorials and tried a campain mission and a sandbox game, both failed :( I think your two videos are going to help me and I shall attempt a 3rd!

Pirate attack rates have changed, when you first start it rarely happens, however as you pick up in the game they come more and more often.

I don't understand why you're so worried about the pirates... 1 fort or a couple guard towers and you don't even need to think about it anymore.

I love the guard towers, esp when you see the spots the pirates like to attack from, costs 750 to quick build and buy em. Thanks for the vids, this game is so much trial and error it can get frustrating

Man you are a great guy! Thank you man! I have a question, i realized my mistakes, but i still can not understand how many CARGO companies do i need? Fro example now i have more than 50 different productions(plantations, factories etc) and around 40-43 cargo companies. Do i need to destroy some of cargo? I thought that each plantation or factory needs its one cargo. I am doing trade a lot, but i am alwais balance between -20000 to + 4000 and never be stable, tired of this. Hope to hear your advice. Subscribed your channel! Really extremely helpful info!

I'm brand new to tropico, so these guides have been a huge help. My only feedback is I'd like to know a bit more about the mechanics, why you're doing X, how to know when you need a given building, like how to know if you need more teamsters, or if you're over producing a resource etc. I know this is early so I'm excited to learn more, just stuff to keep in mind if you make more guides.
