I'ma big fan of these kinda fitting videos. And the way that you talk to the player. Being very direct I think is what a lot of people need during fittings. I've done two or three different fittings but it always seems as if they lack confidence whereas everyone can tell that you are very confident in your knowledge

Trottie love these fitting videos! I’m in a HZRDS smoke 6.0 and at 58 yrs old with same swing data and speed as Todd I think I need to get out of it.

@trottiegolf I do and have my Ping 430 max 1.0 flat and at 8.0 degree on a 9.0 head

Run the pros? Tough to get BTS on a lot of that due to PGA Tour restrictions but rest assured I'm always trying to push the boundaries.

I’ve just been fitted a combo set of MBs 7-W and CB 5,6. I was toe down 6 degrees, would you recommend 2 degrees upright? Or work on my swing/delivery?

Another master class Trottie. I am guessing in a real fitting you would not have called out the flex. This is what works, and this is what it is. I'd love a video on Flex Vs Tip cut etc. Us mortals are generally getting what's on the peg. Aare there different "stock" shafts that can provide flight profile generally? What do the numbers on the shaft mean from a pro / con perspective?

Yea I can dive into a vid on this, I'll wait until the new proto comes out that I'm working with and head down that route. Yes on the detail too. I would never mention the profile out loud, that's all for the video purposes.

Would you recommend the right foot back for bigger guys? It seems like it would help with a bigger hip turn and being able to drop the club more inside. I have a tendency to pull the ball left.

If you see a good players divot pattern is slightly toe down in an iron fitting do you look to change lie angle or grab a shaft that’s slightly more tip stiff?

If ball flight is solid I’d guess you keep it as is, since ball flight is king!

Change lie unless they complain about shaft. Obv I'd be looking at ball flight too

I have had 3 fittings. None have been good. It was all about trying to get you to spend as much as possible not the best fit.
