Beautiful fish the Grayling, Lady of the stream' as its known, I've fished the Dee many years ago, around Bala, Llanderfel and the Llangollen beats, the latter being Fly only, but I do prefere Trotting with worm. Very entertaining video.

You can see multiple times that he's using redworms, hooked once through the middle.

What gets me, is how many game anglers will wax lyrical about trotting for grayling, yet if you went out float fishing with worms for trout, they would be sneering or even disgusted. Personally, I think trotting for grsyling is too easy and so prefer to flyfish. When something is seen as ' traditional' its met with approval by game anglers.......the other one that gets me, is people looking down on streamer fishing in rivers for big trout, yet they see no problem with flyfishing for seatrout or salmon.......which is streamer fishing with traditional flies! 😂😂
