Thanks for the detailed UK space update Tom, you've presented a number of credible reasons for delays at Saxavord which are to be expected to some extent in my opinion. I'm not that worried, yet... Going forward, I think we have to prepare ourselves for initial launch failures at Saxavord, start-ups rarely get to orbit on the first attempt so I think avoiding a pad RUD is the first priority.

Hey Tom, I just came to know that Skyrora has tested its engine stages. And also their rocket Skyrora XL is under completion near Glasgow. ❤🇬🇧👑

There's skme news that Saxavord is good going in development and could see a launch this year. Scott Hammond has said many more things.

They actually dont need the license for the HyImpulse sub orbital launch but they do need all the ground infrastructure which isn't quite complete yet

You do not know what you are talking about. The reason the licence has not been granted is because it is the CAA and they are civil servants. This has never been done before and it takes time. Easy to comment when you sit in a chair!!!

Thanks my dude! Tbf, those CAA civil servants probably do more than most but were still criticised by a government report committee who told them they were too slow in granting SPC their license and need to up their game. I've read that report and even quoted it in my last UK vid last month. But, yeah, I guess that's me not knowing anything from the comfort of my chair 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. Aloha mahalo Jim

It took the CAA forever to grant a license for one launch.! How long do you think its going to take to grant a license for a Spaceport. When issued Saxavord will be the first Spaceport in Europe with a license. Hopefully it will be soon. I am sure when Mr Strang gave an estimate it was based on what he was told by the CAA. I really commend what you are doing on this site and your enthusiam is great. However Rome wasnt built in a day and I felt your video was a bit alarmist, I probably misread the room, I will get my coat!!!@@tomduneofficial
