To answer your question since mister content creator is actually useless in regards to informing people, Assault is a burst of Damage, similar to bleed in the Soulsborne series, just a big chunk of Damage while Burn is a DoT, don't remember if specifically the DoT triggers when attacking the enemy but you can test that yourself, on the other hand when 2 anomalies get put on the same enemy this triggers another big burst of damage called Disorder and the damage is based on the Anomaly Mastery of the character that triggered it's anomally first, in other words Jane Doe is fit for Disorder teams which are the equivalent of Dendro Teams in Genshin Impact big burst of damage with hardly any serious investment of resources beyond levels and talents/core skills

I feel like ZZZ is a game where choosing and sticking to a faction is beneficial depending on who you invest in. For me, I don’t think I’d be missing too much if I skipped all 4 of these units if it means staying true to Victoria Housekeeping & Hollow Special Operations Section 6. Especially if the game can hopefully give me a Lycaon early before 300 selector to pair with my Ellen Sig WEngine + my M1 Rina + my M5 Soukaku. And then there’s Anomoly which feels like the DOT or EM for ZZZ

I have yet to even reach Shiki Defense 9 so I’m nowhere near at endgame level and feeling the need to pull for anyone yet. But I might also change my mind and grab her anyways cause I think she looks cool & wanna change up my team here & there

I pulled for Ellen, Zhu Yuan and their engines, then Qingyi and M1 mindscape . . and even though i'm still IK 49, with lv 50/50 agents, just did Shiyu critical with 5*S and the last two at A earlier today . . Expecting to get to IK 50 on monday, and i'd be pretty surprised if i won't get full S clears. So it's alot of resources one is leaving on the table, by holding out pulling for characters

I went for Qingyi M1 today... and what a difference it makes! The full voltage at start is really nice, lets you get the 15% DEF shred right from the start, but those 30% faster voltage charge just makes everything line up so much better, much more often i get the opportunity to "let go" of the charged attack to make it a dodge counter

6:44 what you mean none of them benefit Jane Doe ? Seth gives her 100 Anomaly proficiency, reduces enemy anomaly buildup res by 20% and has great stun on his skill. On the other side, you gain basically nothing by running two anomalies of the same attribute, ie; Piper and Jane doe. Jane doe would want either a disorder team by being with an anomaly from a different element (like Burnice or Grace) or would want to have most of the field time (which one way Nekomata can be used that people aren't talking about is as a burst unit, you do two assaults with Jane doe then switch to Nekomata for 1 skill which will get a 70% damage increase thanks to her passive, then, when the ult is up, you use nekomata's which is more beneficial than Jane doe's since she's built as a crit dps).

There were a few discrepancies in your talk about Jane Doe’s team building actually, so I thought I’d jot a few things down • Jane Doe would rather be put with Grace or Burnice than Piper, two physical anomalies is redundant (especially with her insane physical build up), and anomalies should build towards disorder for big damage + triggering different types of anomaly removes the slowdown on repeatedly triggering one type of anomaly • Jane Doe actually acquires her faction bonus from being with other anomaly agents, so she’s not too restrictive • I saw the pinned comment but not mentioning Seth makes her seem a lot worse than she is, since Seth is part of her banner and perfectly completes her dream team of Grace + Jane + Seth She’s definitely a lot more work though, since anomaly teams haven’t really been put into the field yet, and could be garbage.

Oh also for anyone worried assault applies a 10% buff to stun on enemies it gets procced on, so you can just make your one non anomaly unit a pseudo-stun (or Jane herself if your really desperate)

I do agree with part of the priority list, Qingyi being low because of having no real niche, and Burnice/Jane Doe being higher, but I don't really agree with what they need. First, Jane Doe doesn't need a physical support. She can proc Assault well enough alone. What she wants is another anomaly character to proc disorder. And that's Burnice. They're both obviously made to work together. Seeing how Assault is made for triggering disorder, my take is that Jane Doe will be there as an anomaly trigger character, and Burnice will be there to stack powerful Burning dot, so that disorder is even stronger. You could say that Burnice has higher priority because Piper can also proc assault, but Jane Doe should bring a lot of extra value (assault critical, res shred, speed, etc...), and will probably be the go to option when it comes to triggering disorder. Burnice, on the other hand, won't be used to trigger disorder. Which means she might actually be more easily powercrept than Jane Doe, since future anomaly characters will take her place, and not Jane Doe's, in double anomaly team. So Burnice + Piper will probably be a better team than Jane Doe + Piper, that makes almost no doubt, but Jane Doe might still be the more future proof choice depending on what we get next. As for Caesar, I think we have absolutely no way to say how meta she will be. She might actually be the absolute best support in the game. She might be a great sub DPS. Or she might be a kind of hybrid character, with buff, sustain and stun, that would work super efficiently with Nekomata (she needs a physical support). For now we can't know, as her role is probably the hardest to anticipate.

The difference in clear time difference between Qingyi and Anby is like 5 seconds lmao. Granted this was prior to the buffs so maybe it's up to 10 seconds now but i doubt it

ive play tested m0 and m2 with the creative server there is a 10 second different in clears on average with m0 budget option, so again, not as effective as you'd like but the buffs have really brought the dmg multiplier on m2 so the clear is over 30 seconds difference, actually crazy

At this point in my account... I think I'm not going to fuss much about meta-gaming. It's too early to worry about getting the perfect team combo. All my characters are still at level 30 and I can't level them further until my rank goes up. My only S Ranks are Zhu Yuan and Grace. I like both and am fine building a team around either. Honestly, I'm just going to pull on whatever banner has a S Rank that looks interesting and worry about team comp later. Jane Doe has some cool animations and character design. So I'll try pulling on her banner. Don't have enough wishes to get her most likely, but I'll try for it and if it works, great. But if it doesn't... I will be a bit torn between Caesar and Bernice. I like the character design of both. Fight animations... like Bernice better, so I'm leaning on waiting for Bernice if I don't get Jane Doe. But I'm not going to overthink this. My account is way too new to be powergaming like that anyway.

I'm 100% getting Burnice I like the factions aspect and I've so far level 50'd Anby, Nicole, Billy, Soukaku, Soldier 11, Lucy and Piper. Burnice will replace Soldier 11 in my disorder team. Here’s my simplistic, generalistic, and objective take on who to pull. First focus on getting 2 teams complete for the current endgame, Shiyu defense. Much more resource efficient to just focus on 2 teams instead of spreading out thin. Let’s see: - No 2nd stunner? Go Qingyi - No 2nd stunner and got Zhuyuan? Qingyi stock is even higher. - Want to try disorder and got Grace but no Piper? Get Jane. - Want disorder and have Piper but no Grace? Burnice it is. - Maximum disorder and is a madlad? Burnice and Jane! Too bad I didn’t look into dreams so I don’t really know where Caesar, or defensive role, stand so gonna have to see when she comes out. Lastly: - Any of them your waifu? Pull!!! 😂

I'd much rather get big account boosts early on rather than get who I actually want. Qingyi is an amazing character and when I get her M1S1 I'll literally never NEED to summon another stunner, so that's hella pulls saved there. Same with dps units for right now, I got M2 Zhu so I'm good on dps stuff until Miyabi. I'll most likely have to skip the entire second half of 1.1 and the entirety of 1.2 just to save resources so I can pull more Mindscapes and W Engines on units that have really good ones. My motto for these games is always vertically investing, spreading shit thin and having 5 different M0P0 characters just feels like dogshit lmao

but to be able to harness disorder we need only 1 anomaly unit per element so we could constantly proc disorder (also removing anomaly icd) so for jane doe, i would say its an upgrade for team grace or we could wait for another element anomaly unit to upgrade team piper edit : im going to get burnice for my piper, easy build high disorder uptime jane doe turns out to be quite expensive investment (need another anomaly element which is S tier again), OR she need another support which again going to be s tier. jane doe just bad really bad. cant pull qingyi cause im at 50-50 and also bad A tier rate up character. qingyi is the best value overall but i cant gamble on 50-50

Just as I thought... I might get Jane with accumulated resources.. and I might even pass Caesar. I did not have any good experience with Ven either... Defence characters are just too confusing to me. I prefer more direct damage than situational aspects. But I am definitely getting Burnice. I needed another stun, So already got QingYi. Had I had Colleta or Lycaon, I would have skipped QingYi. Though. And yes, I am already seeing more fire oriented missions! Piper, Burnice and 11 would be great for my team.

agreed, investment is the big thing, YET lets also consider not everyone has the time or opportunity to max a character, so who can u get value out of with lesser investment, thats why bringing up m0 and m2 as one of the leading arguments for qingyi is important

I’m definitely skipping Qingyi. In terms of a S rank stunner, she is quite underwhelming with only being marginally better than Anby. Jane Doe is basically the Anomaly enabler, the Kafka of this game if you will. So I’m going for Jane and Burnice. Don’t know what to think about Caesar, as I have no idea what their plans are with defense characters.
