Thank you! Can't thank you enough. My Pixel phone doesn't connect to wifi for some reason. This is the fastest solution that I've tried before. I also like the fact that there's no need to download an app from the Play Store. Usually they display ads or asks to upgrade to Pro in order to have no limits. Great explanation too. Cheers man!

Some of the apps don't want to work just with Gnirethet, but all I tried worked with a connection to a wifi network, Bluetooth tethering or mobile data, even if they don't provide internet.

Great video! Thank you! The problem for some can be, that you can not make your phone into hotspot. So, you can get Internet off the USB from computer, but you can not make Wi-Fi hotspot for other devices.

Thank you, this helps so much! Ethernet is so much better than wifi for gaming! Edit: Though it doesn't ultimately solve what I was trying to do. I was trying to mirror my phone and used reverse tethered internet at the same time through the same usb cable, and sadly it doesn't seem to work. the purpose was to use my pc to stream gameplay mirrored from phone while phone got ethernet speeds for the game. I wonder if I can tinker and get it to work.

Tried this. The connection works for like 10 seconds. and then on the terminal, it shows connection closed and client #0 disconnected. Then the internet on the phone stops working. Any way to solve this issue?

by just opening cmd again and put the g then tap to preview the commadn with exe right to it then space run press ok .. this way should connect to internet again Repeat this steps when disconnect your usb cable and reconnecting again sorry for my bad english hahah hope this work for you

I tried to switch on the hotspot on my mobile device to which my pc is reverse tethering... Unfortunately, other devices connected to my mobile device's hotspot are not able to access my pc's internet via my mobile device's hotspot. Windows CMD shows "WARN Router: dropping invalid packet". Is there anyway you know I can make this work ?? I want to broadcast my PC's internet through my mobile device's hotspot.
