Troublemakers on the MBTA

Caught these 4 kids hijacking the cab while riding on the train. I confronted them and they pushed me out of the way and ran when the train got to the next stop. Not sure if they were aware I was an off duty employee or just a random passenger. I told them the police will get them.
This has been an ongoing problem. Young high school kids have been going into the unoccupied cabs of trains, making inappropriate announcements on the intercom and sometimes even spraying the fire extinguisher all over the place, and then running away at the next stop.

The one in the black jacket attempted to break my recording device. I confronted them when they were coming out of the cab and they pushed me out of the way and ran when the train got to the next stop. Not sure if they were aware I was an off duty employee or just a random passenger. I told them the police will get them. But the problem is nothing will happen even if they get caught because they are kids.

Oh No- Just as I suspected... Subway Conquesting has already spreaded to MBTA. Here in NYC there have been alot of cases where subway conquesting was EVERYWHERE! Rollsigns being stolen! Cabs being broken into! And if that's not enough apparently trains were being ACTIVATED & MOVED out of their layup spots without the dispatcher knowing which is a HUGE Red Flag! I hope the MBTA takes action about the Conquesting thats bound to happen again.

Back in the day, when I was still going to downtown bars, I frequented an establishment on Congress st that had a no-hats rule. When told, some of the Nimrods would argue with the doorman about it. Exactly why the rule was in place - to keep fools like them out. May a suggest a no-hoodie rule for the T?

The youths (in general) across Boston and other various neighborhoods and towns in the area have been REALLY bad this year. They've been doing some of the most atrocious things I have ever seen. In the beginning of this year, I saw them harass one of the musicians in the subway and I also got some of my tips stolen by them that same evening when I went performing at State Street (I'm a public performer myself). Then came the LONG lists of videos and stories of assaults by them shortly after. Such as the South Station assault, the Boston Common assault, and the COUNTLESS Downtown Crossing assaults all in this year just to name a few. We need to have stricter rules in place, so the stuff these juveniles do can be reduced. However, I doubt Boston or anywhere else will make any inforcement. They've showed very little to no care about what they've been doing on the T or within public.
