what is the issue if your starter turns over but it does not engage in the engine?

We bought our Husun 750 in January of 2021. Ever since we had we have had issues with it not going in to reverse gear without lots of force and effort. I have bad wrist so this makes it hard for me to drive so I have tried to contact Hisun several times and have taken to the shop as well. In November we took it in the South Main Iron where we bought it because we heard a loud noise and then it wouldn’t start without you pressing the gas while turning the key on. Once you got it started if you stopped pressing the gas it would die. They have had it pretty much ever since then. They have been trying to get Hisun to cover the issues under the warranty but they are refusing. South Main has had employees of Hisun come out and has shown them the utv and the Hisun employees have all said they agree that it’s not a user issue. We have explained to Hisun that we do not go off roaring in this utv the only thing it does is drive us around our property, and pull our mower and boom sprayer. I have read many complaints in here and in google saying others are having the same issue. So if multiple people are having the issue then how is it not a manufactured defect? We would like to have this fixed asap as we have not had our utv for over 3 months or a refund from us paying for the repair. We don’t have anytime to keep waiting for Hisun to do the right thing. South Main Iron has done everything they have asked but it has never been good enough and Hisun won’t give them an inch.

for one of the issues, the brake pedal needs to be pushed to get it in reverse, there is a cable that moves a pin that blocks the shifter. push the brake pedal, the pin retracts and allows the shifter to continue, you can find this device towards the front of the shifter linkage plate, under the shifter stick, remove the engine cover, it is easy to find.

We have had the same issue with the same rig since shortly after we bought it over a year ago. Hisun has no clue what is wrong.

The unit in this video IS an Axis. Axis is a different name for a Hisun. Hisun is the parent company.

These Hisuns are junk. Mine has 60 hrs and yesterday it started fine and idle fine. Book says to let it warm up. I did that and it just died and now will turn over but will not start. New plug no joy. Battery was at 12.7 V is that low enough to not make it fire off?

I'm beginning to think the same of mine. Mine ran fine until about 120 miles and now it died on me (left me stranded) and I can't figure out what they h3ll is wrong with it. Changed fuel filter. I only use premium fuel and remove ethanol with STABIL ethanol remover. I'm regretting purchasing this product and Lowes is clueless.

What is the compression specs on a 2017 Hisun 550 . Should I spray anything into the cylinder before I check compression. It's been sitting for 5 months after it broke down

Accidentally put pos and negative wrong on battery trying to jump my 500. Now nothing comes on. Lights, dash, etc. Replaced battery and still dead. Any idea what to check?? Fuses??

I am working on a HS400UTV-5 (7-2020) and seem to have fuel pressure issues intermittently. It will start and run great at times, then the next time it seems to not get enough fuel pressure. Fuel pump ?? Pressure Regulator ?? Any help would be appreciated.

I have 1000 hisun utv we have fire to crack sensor and fire to injectors and fire to the fuel pump but no fire to the coils can you help us out.

I JUST bought this model today from Lowes and it won't start at all now. I got it to run once. Now when I started it, it just struggles to kick over and then doesn't work. It's like the battery is dead or something.

Where can you purchase accessories for the Axis 500cc? To make it completely street legal here in NC, I need to add a windshield with wipers and a rear view mirror. Also, can you order a back glass for behind the seats?

Although you could get the unit up to speed with street legal laws in your state, we wouldn't know what all you would need to convert your unit to meet their standards. My 550 utv won’t roll over unless I push the gas pedal to the floor. Still after doing that it takes a couple minutes of constant turning over the starter, what’s my issue?

Your Idle Air Control Valve (IAC). It's a little lever that's controlled by the ECU. I can almost guarantee you yours is stuck closed.

@@peired1 I got ahold of Coleman and they told me where to take it to get warranty work on it. Gonna be in the shop for 3 months they said, coleman is really bad at giving replacement parts and paying for warranty work🙄
