Evelyn, thank you and keep up the lessons. Very informative, with simple explanations. Easy to understand , not intimidating at all. Looking forward to building a trouser for my daughter

Hello Evelyn, thank you for sharing your knowledge, so clearly. I'm totally new to sewing with my own measurements and making blocks, so please forgive my ignorance...but how on earth do you cut each piece out?? Fold the back under?
@EvelynAdore4 ай бұрын
Don’t you worry!!! There are no bad questions! And I’m always here to help! I tend to trace one half and then cut out the other half from my draft ♥️♥️♥️ xx

Thank you so much for sharing this video! I’m a beginner looking to learn how to draft pants, and your instructions are really helpful. However, I noticed a few things that I would love to get more clarification on. For example, under the “optional” section, you mentioned “waist → copri length” and “waist → angle grazer length.” Could you please explain what these terms mean? Also, when calculating the waist and hip measurements, do we follow the formula where the waist is divided by 4, and for the hip, is it correct that we add 1 cm before dividing by 4? Again, thank you for the video, it’s helping me learn the basics of drafting trousers!❤

You’re so welcome! Thanks for being here ♥️♥️♥️ The optional note is just saying that you can plot different trouser lengths onto the block to make full length, ankle length and calf length patterns too! And yes! You’re spot on with the hip measurements 😊😊 xx

Hello Evelyn; how are you doing? Good. This Trouser Block is also used to draft men's trousers too? Thanks

@@workieddinka6334 ♥️♥️♥️ Men’s trousers are slightly different - I tend to draft women’s wear, but I’m sure there’s a video for men’s on here somewhere ☺️☺️☺️ xx

How do you measure 1 /12th of an inch?
@EvelynAdore4 ай бұрын
I have a gridded ruler with little sections - just be approximate - add ease rather than taking it away! ♥️
