Thank you, excellent video for someone who's going to this res in a few days! I never knew about the shrimp! Do the onsite shop sell shimp flies?

Sorry for the late reply but yes they do! or go to Craig Barr's company who do some fantastic shrimp patterns, Flash Attack Fly's, the fish at Grafham at the moment are still out in the main water and not so much in the margin's but will be soon, I do run a guiding service should you want to get out on the water for some extra knowledge or help with your techniques or methods or just want a nice day out on the water? @@troutwithleigh4503 I went a few weeks ago now and had a small rainbow on a shrimp pattern from the store, it was a bit too sunny and windy for my liking to be on a boat, a very large body of water too

Yes ,well, not entirely sure that that is quite the done thing old boy. I fish the dry fly in Derbyshire, and would be drummed out of the brownies for using a klinkhammer! regards .

fished all my early years dry fly fishing the river Test at Broardlands mainly, and yes if your dry fly happens to sink you could get shot!!lol this is just another method that works on Big still waters really well! sometimes you just have to think outside the box!!

Yes ,this is true. I do some Guiding on the Dry fly sections of the Wye and am an AAPGAI member so i have a certain aloofness to maintain,What I like about you is your directness and honesty in approach. not sure about your casting but it works for you! Regards!
