Gate is open but they will probably close it right before hunting season to keep hunters out. I enjoying hiking around in there. lol

I have a hard time finding bank spots at shaver lake since all the roads lead to private land, only the marina areas are open to the public.

Nah bro u can pay 10 bucks to go on the other side of the lake right next to the marina and go on road 1 2 or 3 and fish all day just gotta be out by a certain time. Gate opens at 7a.m.
