Trout fishing Cherokee NC!

We slayed the trout on this trip! 269 trout In 2 and a half days between 3 people! It dosnt get much better then that! If you have never been to Cherokee NC you gotta go!

We’ll stocked streams Cherokee is so beautiful I use rooster tails and do well, but will try flyrod and power baits next time

Tournaments are on the weekends so we try and go weekdays. We catch a bunch. Seems I find a new hole full of trout every trip. I use to hit the Tournaments won a little money. The crowds are lousy during Tournaments

@swvirginiaoutdoorsman8479 I sometimes keep my limit and that lasts a month. I don't fish the trophy waters. I have stayed 3 days for $27. That's one movie price. Around the 13th we are going next month.

Iv had several different ones. But right now I have 2 that I use all the time and a couple back up rods . The 2 I use is a echo 3wt 7.5 foot rod for smaller stream fishing. And I have a echo 4wt 8 foot rod for the bigger streams
