You should try and pop the lens out of a pair of polarized glasses and put it on the go pro lens it might make it easier for us to see what you do in the water

Such an impressive day Dusty! Laying that spinner down and watching those first cast takes blew me away! A couple of big hogs in that bunch of all super nice browns! That’s a dream day man , congrats on that and tight lines 🤛

Persistence and effort in exploring, locating and "cataloging" spots over the years plus pin-point casting and precise presentation of your confidence lure make for enlightening videos. More required than most are willing or able to invest. Amazing catches---- again

Amazing fish in such small streams. I live in Bucks County, PA. The streams are they on public land.? Would a fly rod be as productve?
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 Жыл бұрын
This particular stream is not posted but I always knock on doors anyhow….. I mean a fly rod could definitely work…. I’m just basically luring the big ones out of their cover…. I guess if the bite is right you could do that with about anything but I’ve fished this same stream since then & didn’t even see a fish so I guess there were a few variables that were in my favor on this day! 👌

Holy hog brown!! You know you’re catching hogs when they’re bending your spinners 😅 that was awesome Dusty! What kind of polarized sunglasses are you wearing?
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho26202 жыл бұрын
Lol…… yeah brother, every now and again you get one that completely folds your spinner….. you definitely know they mean business when they do that! Ha🤙 I wear the Smith Redmond’s with the yellow tint! 👌😎

These are awesome pigs for such a small stream. I have to ask the question. Are these waters on public access lands or private fishing club grounds where fish are stocked. Either way, great job!
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho26202 жыл бұрын
No definitely no club fishing for me…. This particular stretch of stream that I caught all of these trout from doesn’t even have a posted sign on it….. I did however fish it apparently on a day with the perfect conditions and pressure system because I have since fished it where I have not even seen a trout…. It’s truly Amazing how that works! If they don’t come out of their cover to feed….. you don’t even know they’re there! 👌👍
@woodsspy3272 жыл бұрын
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 That is truly amazing. I am newer to trout fishing and starting fly fishing too. Can you briefly explain a little about the pressure systems and fish feeding? is it when the pressure is beginning to drop before rainfall and or storms when they turn on or otherwise? Also, do you only spin cast fish for trout or you do any fly fishing for trout in those beautiful PA streams that I see so much on KZbin? Thanks for sharing your thoughts and congratulations again.
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho26202 жыл бұрын
Woods Spy I’m going to be honest I don’t really know how the pressure systems work exactly but I do know that when they are bad the fish bite is horrible, the big fish do not chase to feed, most of the fish that strike do not get hooked they just basically nip at your spinner and fishing is overall just plain crappy! Lol….. But yes, the pressure systems usually are good before a rain, especially in the spring months when the weather is typically warmer! I only do spin fishing at this point but I’m considering taking up fly fishing eventually…. the spin fishing is just better suited for the tight quarters that I get into on the smaller streams, I could imagine that I would be extremely clumsy with a 10 foot fly pole! Lol👌

What Mepps Spinner do you have on? I have never had that much luck with them. I usually use my Fly Rod or I use different styles of Rooster tails. I would definitely like to try it in my area of PA. Thanks!
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho26202 жыл бұрын
I use the Mepps Aglia in the gold blade mainly…. Size 2 & 3 are my go-to
