The best thing about Jordan is that whether its 30lb springers or 12 inch trout he's so into what he's doing you couldn't tell if you couldn't actually see.

Dope vid as always. Trout fishing can be such a blast. Brook Trout have red fins with bright white tips by the way. What you caught were rainbows, cutthroat, and hybrid cuttbows. I see them all the time in my home river and they spot up way more than pure rainbows. Especially around the spawn and when they're juveniles.

I've been fishing creeks since I was little. Nothing beats the seclusion and the sound of fast water rushing over rocks. One of my favorite camping spots has a big log that stretches across the creek and there's a deep pool immediately on the downstream side of the log. The eastern brookies love that spot. My wife one time hooked up a small brook, and as she was reeling it in, a much larger brook came out of nowhere and ripped the smaller fish off of her hook and laid down on the bottom right below us while it tried to swallow it. It was incredible to watch and also very funny.

Jorden you fish a lot of jigs. I'm 44. When I was 12 or 13. At summer camp one year I used crappie jigs and was hooking two to four pound rainbow's in a tiny creek. One of my fondest memery"s. This vidoe just brought that back to memery. Thank you. This video just made my day.

"Okay last cast" (Last cast: 1) just earned you a subscriber!! 🤣🤣🤣 All jokes aside I've seen a few of your videos before but these trout videos are really what made me subscribe. I stopped drinking/using recently and got back into fishing as a new way to pass the time... been doing a ton of striper fishing and some sturgeon as well... haven't fished for trout since I was a kid with grandpa but I tried a new spot today and caught a BEAUTIFUL 4lb rainbow today and fell in love with it!! Whole different ball game but I instantly hit up KZbin after I got home and I gotta say, your tutorials are so insightful, it's ridiculous!!! Appreciate you sharing all the knowledge!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🎣🐟🦈🐠

Jordan is always no matter what the fish is or however big it is gets so stoaked about the experience he has with every moment. Totally awesome, also I believe do to there being cutthroats and rainbows that his second catch was a cutbow do to the different color it has and also the red under its slits. Totally awesome, but also Jordan the "brookies" you thought you were catching were just smaller rainbows. Brook trout have blue rings around there red dots where rainbows will have blue circles without any red on them. 😉

Love your vids Jordan. I've trout fished since a teen in Pocono & Allegheny mountain areas in PA catching "stockers" & native brookies & browns. You are so right about using the senses. It can make all the difference. Sometimes in early April I have to take those caddis' off the rocks to catch any. Lol. What a coincidence my Go To spinner is the same type black/gold Panther. Shines-up nicely in some of those tea-stained, tannic waters. Keep at it brother. Tight lines.

I fly fish, but it was really cool seeing you pick apart this stream with a spinning rod. I love the difference, yet similarity in techniques that the two styles of fishing use. You were essentially fly "nymphing" with the bobber and worm dead drift. I hate the fact that guys who fly fish think there is a hierarchy to it. As long as you are a respectful sportsman who is a steward of the land, who cares! Awesome video!
