My family and I trout-fished there back in the fifties. We rode bicycles back in and did our fishing then ride them back out. We stacked the bicycles on our car and tie them down heading back home to Princeton, WVA. We looked like a band of Jepseys going down the highway.

Those goldens are beautiful. They stock them in my neiboring state of road island, but not here in Connecticut. If I ever catch one, I would have it mounted

Hi Tom, They actually do stock them in CT. A few of our buddies catch them there. We saw one on the Farmington a few weeks ago!

I've enjoyed this place many times, I prefer to bike in from the glades into the back country. It's a relaxing beautiful ride. I have seen the mules there, and dogs pulling gear also.
