Trout & Grayling Fly Tying Tutorial - The Red Tag Nymph

The famous Red Tag, tied just the way I like it. With a great mix of flash, movement and profile this fly has earned its place in the hall of fame of fly patterns for both trout and grayling.
Materials List:
Hook: Jig Hook Size 14
Bead: 3.5mm Slotted, Copper
Thread: ‪@SemperfliNet‬ NanoSilk 12/0, Black
Body: Shimmer Dub, Peacock Green
Tag: Glo-Brite No.4
Rib: Copper Wire, 0.1mm
Hackle: Natural CDC
Thorax: Glister Sparkle Dubbing, Brown.

Hi Shane, I believe this was the standard jig hook from Barbless Hook Company. But I have switched over to the Fulling Mill Jig force hook now as it holds a sharp point for longer when fished with. Hope that helps you out, thanks for watching
