Again, as always, wonderful. Great shooting, great writing, really great music choices. But the secret sauce is always the editing, isn't it? It's the most time consuming and grueling and least noticed aspect. But that's what sets the great from the good video, film, writing, etc.

I'm always moved by your videos but this one really struck me, for some reason. Maybe it was the simplicity of the treehouse, still supplying the basic comforts. I think also it's a lesson, that no matter where you are, there's peace and joy to be found. You and Ally always manage to make your travels special. I couldn't help but laugh at the end, when you talked about life having balance, while seeing Ally surrounded by boxes of different pizzas. My kind of balance! 😁

Your videos are so well done, classy, cinemagraphic. Your narration is addictive to listen to. I really like the way you eschew risky outdoor sports, personal melodrama, angst, gratuitous skin, etc. Not that any of that is bad per se...but you can see/hear quite a bit of that in van life, travel adventure, outdoor sports, etc. The whole family can watch your channel on the big screen and Dad can look up and make stupid comments like: "Before we had you guys, your Mom and I used to go to places like that..."

There's no story boards or scripts or anything like that ever. That's why they feel the way they do. But I recently did a video on my Patreon showing some behind the scenes of my process. Going to be posting a lot more there and doing more tutorial based stuff!

Oh, that wood fired fired hot tub reminds me of one of the best New Years trips we had with a couple of friends, remote brick cabin in a valley, lots of snow, good winter hiking and exactly that thing in the evening. Brings back good memories

Amazing. I think there are similar tree house rentals here in Oregon. Maine is so beautiful. It's my favorite state. I have stayed in a few Bed and Breakfasts. One in Kennebunkport and a couple times in Bar Harbor. I love being outside when the air is cold and when you inhale it hurts your lungs.

Both myself and my husband love your videos. My husband started years and years ago with film and him and his dad this as one of their hobbies. When I joined the family and we had a child this also became my hobby. My husband has a degree in tv/radio/marketing. He is also a HAM radio guy and works for a college doing all the video classes and everything electronic. We both just love your videos, voice and showing that all small town living is not so bad. I come from a very small town in Iowa and my husband comes from medium size town in the most southern part of Iowa. He is a trumpet player, so was his father and our son is too. He got great video gear when our son started marching band and symphonic band. My husband is very versed in editing and was employed at a larger TV station. He appreciates how well you shoot, edit and voice your shows. He understands how much time goes into what you do. Keep up the great work!
