Kyle & Allie…I know you’ll probably never see this but I’m going to leave this here. I don’t know how BUT somehow I stumbled across your channel recently and it has given me a new light and a new direction in life. My story started years ago…1968 to be exact. I was born in Long Island and moved to Poughkeepsie, NY when I was about 6 and then to Florida a few years later. I graduated high school in 1986 and joined the US Army later that year and served 12yrs in the Army Special Forces. Having served during the Panama invasion in 1989, Desert Storm/Shield in 1900/1991 and Somalia in 1993 I saw my share of action and got out in 1998 after several injuries that were combat related. Long story short, after I got out I was a pissed off veteran. I started running with a rough crowd in the motorcycle club world. I eventually became a patch holder in one of those clubs for 20years. Over the years I battled with alcohol, liked to fight and fought PTSD and depression. Finally, I kicked myself in the ass and decided it was time to make a change. Yes, the world I lived in was wild and fun but I needed change for my own personal well being. That’s where you guys came in. When I started watching your videos it brought back lots of childhood memories. My dad used to have a house in the Adirondacks in Indian Lake, NY. We used to go there a lot. Lots of fun building forts in the woods and fishing. Times were much simpler back then. You two bring a calm to me. You guys have a great vibe and a great sense of positivity that is contagious. Your love for one another is obvious and nice to see. I grew up in a household with no love. Your journeys motivate me to be a better person. I work harder to be the explorer you guys are. I’ve booked many of the cabins you’ve stayed in and will be exploring them soon. I just want to thank you guys for helping change me. You probably NEVER thought your channel would have that effect on someone but it has. Keep up the great inspirational work you guys do. Maybe one day I’ll run into along the way somewhere. Good Morning - This cold morning with the dawn of a new day I too found myself right where I needed to be. I follow many on KZbin and today I'm adding another, Trout and Coffee. As I watched this video and a few others I could not help but be mesmerized with the story and the attention to detail within. Obvious this is a passion for you and you certainly are a very gifted young man. What stands out to me first is the gift of Observation. Not everyone has this gift and its with the smallest of observations that stories grow and told from a much deeper place. Thanks for sharing the journey. LOVED hearing that weather report mention my Lawwng Iyyland home! We're 30 yr transplants to GA and people STILL ask me, "yerr not from here, are yeww?" They thought I'd lose my accent?? Fugetaboutit! And that stove, again, conjures up wonderful memories of our wood burner that heated the 1938 Cape Cod I grew up in back in the '70s & '80s. Funny how things like bringing in the wood daily and stoking the embers after school was so routine to me back then, but are such sweet sweet memories for me now😊Because I often got in before my siblings got home & mom & dad were still at work, I was tasked w stoking the fire to get it going. That baby kept it snug for 23 yrs til we all flew the nest. Best memories ever! ~Great content

Kyle, before you cut your hand open or cut off a finger, get yourself some P50s & P38s ! It's a small can opener. Throw one on all your key rings,tackle box, tool box etc. It's safe and take up no space! Great videos by the way!

Just wanted to say that I had my first cup of Cozy Up coffee this morning and it was awesome! I was a little afraid how it would work in a Keurig, but I bought some reusable pods, used about two tablespoonfuls and it tasted great! Bonus for less waste with the reusable pods!
