Thank you so much for sharing this adventure with us! This pond looks like one that most fly fishers would typically bypass given all the tree trunks, snags, moss, and obstructed shorelines. Reminds me of Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken": "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." Beautiful, healthy trout waiting to be caught and released back into an uninspiring and difficult to fish mess of a pond.

It's cool spot. It's challenging but worth it. I love the small lesser known lakes

Me too. It's a hard one to fish, but makes for a good time

Such a technical place. Nice work getting those beauties through the gauntlet.

It's hard one for sure. I love it though. I try to hit for a bit whenever I'm in the area

There seems to be a bit more debris in there then I remember. I enjoyed your Flycraft video the other day. Wish my dad was still able to get out. Emjoy it while you can.

Yeah, it was a different time of year when we went. I try to get out with my dad as often as possible for that very reason. My bro said the Flycraft video was the best video I have ever put out. I told him it was because I didn't make it. That's what you get when you have a professional film/editor guy making the video haha

More power to you. #1… I couldn’t hike that far for a fish hahaha. #2…. If I saw that lake in that kind of condition, I would have hiked back to the truck. You are more manly than me. Great fish and video.

Haha, yeah its a rough one. I have had some fun trips there though. I t would be a hard one to ice fish. I doubt anyone has ever tried. It would be difficult to get there this time of year

I can’t believe you pulled those toads out of that place. Need to spend a day just cleaning debris and come back after they settle down. Nice job dude. Crazy you landed anything

Way to work the muck for the win. That was Snag City.

It is a snag fest for sure. But it's fun. I love it there

Last time I was there several years ago I fell three times on the way.
