I'm fishing the Two-bit Hooker this weekend after watching this. Thanks for the FYI. And yes, please do a future vid on San Juan Worms. Cheers!

When water is low and clear (like now) and I'm missing more than my share of hookups, is it because my drift is taking the fly out of the lane the fish is expecting or are they spitting it before i set the hook or do I just suck at catching fish on dry flies? Love the show but I miss the "back of the truck" version from last season.

For October Five Flies-- I'm not very confident with nymphing and catch far fewer fish (compared with dry/dropper rigs). I think my problem is obtaining the correct drift. What are your keys to a good drift? Do you prefer to use weighted flies? What are your strategies for using weight? How do you set up your flies for 2 or 3 fly nymph rigs (lead vs trailing flies)? What are the keys to indicator adjustments? And definitely Cholula! The guys need to try Marie Sharp's (from Belize)!

Love this episode! Question for October: As we move into the cooler months, bringing lower temps and water levels along with crystal clear water…do you have any tips for fighting and landing fish when lighter tippet is required on our Colorado tailwaters? Thanks! Love the show!

I’m enjoying your show. My question is when your fishing the two bit hooker what dry are you using. What size is the dry and how long is the tippet that you attached the nymph? Thanks my name is Mike Zobrist

Usually fish the Two Bit under a Charlie Boy Hopper or a Fat Angie, very often about 36” down….that long dropper lets the fly get down much deeper than the usual 18” rig. Flies don’t hang straight down, usually there’s a bit of an angle that effectively shortens your dropper depth. Hope that helps.

For October: As weather is cooling down and bugs becoming less frequent, do you still hit any still waters in the mountains or do you move to more exclusively river fishing at this point?

Great Episode Guys. October Question: How do you know the best streamer fishing technique for a given water (dead drift, swing, downstream retrieve, etc)? Can that be determined by water type or do you just try them all until something works? Thanks!

When dry fly fishing on faster currents how can you tell the difference between a refusal due to drag on the fly or the the wrong fly entirely?

I have a new baby, so my fishing window has been a couple of hours on the evening. Not a lot of time, I find. What would Courtney's strategy be if she only had a couple of hours to fish in the evening?
