Does the countdown before it withers start counting before or after being fully watered? it seems like a safe bet that it starts when you plant it, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Also, what's the point of no return on planting something? When it sprouts I assume?

So most plants need sunlight to grow huh? Can other light sources work by chance? I’m just trying to think of a cornerstone design that doesn’t look like a tower of platforms growing plants. I’m not a minimalistic player, even though I just started about a month ago. If that’ doesn’t work either, how much space do plants typically need vertically?
