I blame the devs. The game’s QOL is so dogshit that it makes people think cheating is justified. Even though cheating is wrong, the devs have also shown ignorance or incompetence for making the game F2P friendly. Trove needs a proper dev team, not the sorry excuse of a coding club we have now. FFS, you could make the game 100x better by just changing some numbers. The devs’ solution is to make the game worse for everybody with awful updates?? They’re the reason people think they can cheat with no consequence. They’re the reason people are pressured into cheating or quitting the game as they see it as nothing but a waste of time. HIRE A MOD TEAM TO STOP THE BOTTERS, MAKE THE GAME 1000x LESS GRINDY, AND RESET THE ECONOMY. PLEASE.

Yoooo this 100% true Just today in the hub around 1pm I just log in and I see like 10 accounts with the same name just number difference at the end ayyy122 and up to 140 or ayy I forgot how many Ys are in the name And yesterday was trying to get the sheet steel spear from tundra biom for a skin and suddenly the game freezes and I see like 30 players each 15 or so spawn in defrent outposts and all of them teleported to the same dungeon and staied there for a moment , my in game friends saw it as well , and they cleared like 15 dungeons in like 1 minute and they all were different names The servers are stroking hard from this lag I can't speed farm with LL hooks cuz I keep stopping cuz chunk loading Is there a way to share things like that with u ? Я вернулся в игру и когда увидел цены в флаксе сразу же желание пропало. И вопрос... как они объясняют что новичкам не будут мешать? What I find funny is how gamigo aren't doing anything about it and soon enough players are going to leave the game due to this, or the fact the games so laggy and hard. Which is why I stopped playing and I had no clue most of my servers were so laggy because of this. Love how people in these comments are god defending cheaters, saying its not that bad that they cheat and normal players get resources from them. Imagine the Weekly Dungeon cleared leaderboard to have BR as one of the classes, like no normal BR main is gonna get the Pins/Chaos Chests, same thing with the Paragon rewards, no normal player no matter how much they sit on ships with Xp pots active will gain enough levels to get the Top 25 rewards. Also love the fact people think cheaters are some saviours because they drop the price of para pins a little while actively buying up the market supply for Credit pouches pushing the price of that way higher then pins could ever go. Some people do actuallly care about this game and if anyone reading this doesnt, thats fine, but dont blame someone who tries to actively save this sinking ship we call trove.

Well, I cheat a lot, a lot But only when playing offline! If online, then only when there is no leaderboard (often idle games) But damn it, not in an online game! I used to spend a lot of time in wow (World of Warcraft) and farm gold, then suddenly the bots came and farmed in a month what it took me a year to do and the worst thing was that the price of gold fell in the AH (auction house) because they could buy everything... Cheating in MMOs or MMORPGs is just wrong What if I play Trove now (I haven't played it for years but got the KZbin recommendation and thought I'd try again) and get really good and then everyone thinks I cheated in the end? That's crap for those who play a lot regularly because they're thrown in the same pot, crap multiplayer cheaters

I have some ideas: - Get a club world which is solely the sea of deep regret, and invite all the AFK-scripters there so they repeatedly die. - Fall into the void and die, but don't respawn. You can then invite these cheaters to your game and repeatedly kill them. lol - Trap them inside a box in a club world. Edit: I used the method shown above and it enraged the cheaters to the point where they screamed slurs in the chat

My main concern rn is that nothing will be done by the devs about this, which would send a message that this sort of behaviour is fine, and normal players would be further incentivised to just script themselves and I'd hate to see this. Other than that, I'd disagree with you on the ponit about players buying less pouches for real money. I'd suspect this might unfortunately be the other way around - as the flux prices of pouches rise, and the prices of normal farmable resources drop, it creates a scenario where the average player is way more likely to buy pouches themselves. They not only get more flux for doing this, but now also each bit of flux can buy them more stuff. This really seems like a scenario that is in fact beneficial to Gamigo, which makes me doubt if they'll actually move on this, but hopefully the response will be similiar to the duping incident.

you are confusing the scritpers with dupers. scripting can bring you some flux but if that were millions or the bilions you talk about, EVERYONE would be doing it. Also, I bet you got yourself confused. You said "why would engdame players buy credit pouched (with real money) if they could bot it for free flux instead? because of that, less money goes into the game and less credit pouches are on the market." -> you associate apples with bananas. Why do engame players HAVE to pay real money? Why can't they farm flux and buy credit pouches? Have you never played Trove during an event or new content? remember 2 weeks ago when rising tides was released and every world was lagging like crazy because guess what, worlds get full. What is the problem? Not people afking, too many people in 1 world. 3rd aspect: harder updates: remember rising tides update? the grind is huge, but people found mining to be really good. guess what, some people grinded over 100k runic trunks, generating thousands of depths cores and such while others maybe didn't even get to play the update. Devs nerfed mining and now everyone who wasn't as active is punished. Scripter involvement? NONE

ofc more trove drama as always smh 🤦‍♂first off lets adress the "alt pandemic" going based off what you said i did the math and going based off your own words the math isnt adding up at all 100x the amount a normal player can grind? lets say on average they make 35mil a day 35x7 245mil on average id make 25m a week on console using latecoms 100m flux per week on an alt guide console is 1/4th the amount of total flux i also had an additional 17.5m flux from grinding ash recipe dungeons every day 245m / 4 = 61.25m 6 x 7 = 42m credit pouches ranged from 850-3m so ill say 1.75m pc credit pouches 5m the total flux i needed to buy all the packs in the store was 2.68B or 1750ish credit pouches on avg itd take me about 446 days if im not lazy if im lazy afk grinding itd take me like 730 days of grinding (if we arent counting flipping) with flipping itd be closer to 550 or 600 days for pc its 11 or 12B for all 1750ish credit pouches or 365 days of grinding atmost it seems like a 1.5-2x increase in flux based off what im seeing i think ths might just be an over exaggeration if im being frank i hardly play the game anymore and i still keep up with cheaters and the top 0.0001% the only people who actually really pose a threat is farmers met someone with litterally trillions of flux from planting and fishing lastly i wanna say i dont blame these players for doing what they did trove is litterally designed in a way to make players constantly feel like their wasting their own time by gambling at a casino or selling their life their soul in exchange for nothing in gambling terms "you were never meant to win because house always wins" trove is banking and hoping on players being ignorant enough to fall for their manipulative schemes i fell into a dark place playing this game and its why i can whole heartedly say theres a reason why no one is talking about the "secret illuminati hidden within trove" and honestly i stand with them let them cheat and do whatever they want cause if gamigo continues to cheat us out of every last hard earned dollar and cheat us out of our time without a single care for it then they deserve it you keep trying to imply its the community thats ruining trove but really it was trove itself all along you were just to careless to ever notice as it began to sharpen its fangs and its why i love warframe so much more than trove they had a similar dupe incident hella afk scripters and cheaters yet instead of saying "fuck you" to the players they solved the issue and let everyone keep all the stuff they got even the stuff they duped and yet the game is still fine infact its bigger then ever and no one seems to care about the cheaters cause the game is designed in such a careful way that cheaters only efffect themselves negatively and no one else

because mods let them auto accept invites, someone can invite them onto boss/skull room in ships to complete the dungeon waves rapidly for hours on end giving them free loot through gearcrafter boxes, tomes, and paragon level rewards. honestly its a product of bad game design. nobody wants to sit in 1 place holding their mouse button down for 20 minutes, so they offload the task to a script/autoclicker/other tool. there's no gameplay to participate in... so people bot on ships while they are doing other shit, then come back and play the game normally for other content. there are other examples of similar afk-botting in other activities on the game but ships is the primary example with the most blatant rule breaking... but honestly it doesn't even matter, the devs dont care about this game, and the game is unplayable most of the time because the servers are shit, and contrary to the comments by this youtuber saying its because people afk with scripts on 24/7 its not, the game/worlds are fine when there's only a few people in them, the problem is the way the game syncs between the servers and multiple users, which is why speed-hacks are so game breaking, because it literally breaks the game and maxes out server processor usage as it tries to update every other player in the server with data that the speed hacker is creating. its essentially like a ddos attack. but even without speed hackers, the same issue arises when there are 32 people running around in the same world. this game is just being milked by the devs for as much money as they can get before they shut it down due to a lack of players. there's like

Nobody is fine with it. It's just borderline accepted because if it weren't for their (shitty) monetization, the game would've died many many years ago. Pay 2 win pays server bills and dev wallets. Grindy? lol I came back after a year of not playing and earned a full set of c5 gear and fully upgraded it with 20 bucks that I earned in one hour of actual work in real life. Because I don’t have that much time. Just put a little time in real life and enjoy your game on your off time instead of being proud of being a free to play grinding all day player. Besides the devs deserve to get paid as well. No one works for free.
