I have the Troxus Lynx in bright red. I love riding it. The review is basically spot on. Although I disagree about the comfort of the seat. I swapped mine out for a cruiser style seat.

I've ordered the newer version of the Lynx (Lynx Plus). The reviews so far (limited since it hasn't been out for too very long and Troxus isn't a brand name that screams "Buy Me!") on the Plus are very positive also. It has the hydraulic breaking now. It also offers the option to switch between cadence or torque sensors which is something that you didn't cover. I've watched so many of these types of videos as I worked on what brand/type of e-bike to purchase and what to expect now that I have had to order one that the bike shop didn't have in stock. And, surprisingly, most of these reviews do not include a super-duper important feature for the average rider - Is the company's customer support service any good? What I was able to find out was that Troxus was a lot more responsive to the repair techs at the bike shop than the company who I was initially eager to purchase a bike from. That is important. I know how to do what I know how to do but bike maintenance/repair is definitely not one of those things. And even bike shops need to be able to contact manufacturers for support and supplies as necessary. If a company doesn't offer support - what does do it matter how well it did in a hill climb or braking test?

Mechanical disc brakes, only 14-28 tooth freewheel, combined with a ridiculously high price point for it's lacklustre specs = a hard pass.

Do you recall how the Troxus compared to the Mokwheel Scoria ?

Way too rich for my blood . I have a Himiway Cruiser which gives me all that and more for $5-600 less . Just ordered a Wired Cruiser for the same price which has a 2000w motor and rolls at 38mph . I like to get more bang for my buck especially since I'm on disability gotta make sure no wasted cash spent.

I take acception to your description "moped style". It's just like most other step through bike just scaled down with 20" tires. It looks nothing like a moped.

Comments about the presenters are spot on. The mumbling, bumbling, stumbling monotone presentations are definitely sleep inducing. These presentations do not need to be singing, shouting, dancing, but the presenters need to show that they are actually alive, rather than dead and simply not fallen down yet.

Any class 3 e bike that doesn’t have hydraulic brakes should be illegal. Recommending a 80lbs 28mph bike with mechanical disk brakes is stunning in your disregard for your viewers’ life. It is only because e bikes are in a grey regulatory area that these death traps can be sold. The difference between 10 feet of stopping distance may save you from the morgue. You should educate your viewers and call out life threatening deficiencies with these bikes. For $2000 and no hydraulic brakes????

you are highly overrating the difference with mechanical vs hydraulic brakes. They just squeeze the (same) brakes harder. MOST people don't know how to fully utilize the brakes they have! Get a tiny leak and thos hydraulics won't stop you at ALL. Which is life threatening?

We typically prefer hydraulic brakes, and wouldn't mind to see them on this bike in the future, but given it's better than most result on the brake test it would be unfair to label it as dangerous. It is important to know you'll have to squeeze a bit harder though.

Talk about overreactive. Ive ridden way heavier much more powerful dirt bikes with mechanical breaks.
