Toooom Doooobyyyy!! Nice work, Tom! A co-worker dropped off an '82 Honda CB650 for me to have. It looked like it was dredged from the botttom of a swamp. Much like that mower! Yes, I got it running and it looked almost brand new when I was done with it. Sold it for $650. Tidy little profit. Should have kept it. It was a sweet bike! Have a great day. God bless.

Hey Tom! She'd definitely get a bath from me before working on it. I like that screwdriver trick for the side discharge I'll have too try it next time. I normally just push down hard and use a little(their not little)chest too help push down so everything lines up. So definitely going too try your method! Have you used your new bit adapters?

That was one well made fuel line, being cord reinforced. It looks like something they would use on an airliner flying over your shop. Overkill quality for a small lawnmower. He has a push mower which he doesn't have to push, which is the good part when the heat index is 110 degrees. I had a front wheel drive Craftsman mower. I think the base was made of magnesium. The USA got magnesium from seawater during WW II. Using it on bombers was a big mistake. Any engine fire & it was bailout time, if you were lucky. I think composites and lithium/aluminum alloy might be used now, along with titanium. NASA recently invented a new alloy which is both very hard, yet can flex without cracking. They said it will revolutionize jet and rocket engines because it also has a very high melting point.
