Langdon was the toughest pound for pound fighter in the league during his playing days. Amazing stamina.

I damn near made the same comment. I referred to it as "a blast" instead of "fun".

Whenever I see “tracking” on a video clip, I know quality won’t be great, but the hockey was pretty honest.

Wow, really enjoyed this video. Crowder looks so young. Did not realize Langdon had so many PIM in minor leagues. I patterned some skirmishes like these in my junior hockey book The First Season Coach an Amazon ebook about a struggling team that fights its way to respectability.

Crowder was such a calm fighter, that's why he won so many of his fights.

crowder was being a puss and hitting lagdon when the refs tied him up. Kind of reminded me of symenko when he fought Probert. The refs jumped in and Proberts tied up but symenko wasn't and throwing blows. Thats why Probert tkoed him in fight two. If the refs have one guy and not the other you don't throw punches.

Langdon's style was a bad match-up for Crowder because if you could sealtbelt Troy, he usually lost his steam pretty quickly, and then you had a decent chance...

@jays1752Ай бұрын
@@mikebilly4599 Beat him once (first fight) and then sucker punched him in their third bout before Bob even got his gloves off. Went down on his own at the end of that fight knowing Probert was about to beat him into submission.

Matt Johnson was actually in this video and on the ice for the last scrum by the Rangers bench. He was number 34. He was sent to the minors and played in one regular season game for the Kings that year.
