sorry sir but your info is incorrect Samart Payakaroon( WBC boxing and WMTA) did it in the 80s and James Warring( WKA in kickboxing and IBF in boxing) had also done it around the same time as Dorsey got his although Dorsey was honestly an American rules only kickboxer

Maybe it’s the fact I’m a woman or the Jesus in me, but I just got my 5 year old boy in this kickboxing class and I can’t imagine punching and kicking people that don’t truly need a butt whoopin. I guess you have to practice on someone and these guys are enjoying themselves maybe?

Most of us (I am in MMA) are pretty gentle at first. We don’t aim to destroy unless someone is trying to hurt us. In competitions like this (at least at first) it’s going for a submission, not a knockout. I know a woman who was in Troy’s class for a bit. Apparently he is relatively gentle in teaching, while still being amazing at it. Your son is in amazing, skilled hands!
