@WinterstonecallingIt's telling of the times we are in. The Bible speaks of the future Abomination of Desolation in the Holy Temple by the Antichrist. Knowing that the Antichrist will be so very cunning as to deceive even the elect if not for the grace of God, this should serve as a warning to us all to keep our guard up against these things and not to be drawn in by them.

As a wife, it would have disturbed me. I pray for my husband to be strengthened to prevail over the world. It is horrible to find it in church...yet the OT talks about the idolatry that existed in the temple. I am thankful for Pastor Driscoll's ministry which empowers my husband to protect me, our children and our grandchildren.

Do not speak to anyone but God. The WHOLE story is not fully out. Both sides had points. Both sides made mistakes Both sides need to reconcile with God first. There was blindness to choose this act, but not intentional. there was poor communication from and by Mark afterwards in further conversations and texts, that defeats the purpose of confronting compromise, but diverted conversation to bad behavior. Satan wants to deflect the REAL ISSUE. Its about compromise not a person or an event. James took it personally, and then mark began making bad choices in his defense. WRONG both ways. The REAL ISSUE IS HOLINESS AND HONORING GOD!

I am so proud of you Pastor Troy. You too took your time, reflected, prayed and studied the situation before sharing. Such a Jesus move! 🙏🏼 I am not a pastor or a man. But I was a good sinner. I went to strip clubs with my husband many times before we were saved by Grace! 🙌🏼🐑🩸✝️ This was a moment that represented the darkness. The devil walked into that arena and started the “show” to let everyone know, he is the god of this world and he will go where he pleases. I applaud the Pastor who spoke up and he has his reward waiting for him in heaven. Clearly this was a “get behind me Satan” moment for him and he did well to say so. Amen! Thank you Pastor Troy for sharing your heart and wisdom on this matter. Blessings 🖖🏼 and peace ✌🏼 on you! 🙏🏼

Thank you for standing up for Mark Driscoll. He did the right thing. It was so evil and disgusting. Many of the newer Christians don’t understand the symbolic nature of the sword, swallowing and many other things that went on. Even when these things were done at the fairground or in the circus it was by demonic spirits! this one just added a totally sexual addition to it. I am so glad Mark addressed as he did for the sake of all the young people would’ve been taken to that it would’ve gone home thinking this is OK. It’s not OK. You are right it is like Elijah and Carmel. It had to be reviewed publicly. At my church years ago, Lester Summerall rebuked my pastor, how cold he kept the sanctuary and how all the people were freezing and sitting there with coats on! I know it seems like a lesser thing but many people in the church be the pastor for years to change this and he was too stubborn. When another pastor comes, I’ve seen this done. I’ve been at the body of Christ a long time as it cares man you must receipts rebuke if it is correct. It shows that your teacher doesn’t make you look bad except immature people. Shows how to accept correction.

But what I didn’t know until I listened to someone who was there said was that after the confrontation, Mark and John Lindell had a conversation and reconciled in front of the whole conference. Troy it is so good to hear your evaluation of the encounter. I sit in Mark Driscoll's church every Saturday, and truly I can say he is humble. I think because he is strong in his belief people do not recognize his humility. When he teaches he is always relaying his heart for the families in his church. He truly is aware of the state of the world and the soon coming of Christ. He is giving everything he has into helping people be aware of the conditions we are living in and you know he wants you to understand. He is so loving and so good. If the people in the US had more pastors like him, I don't think we would have lost our youth and possibly our country. You really picked up his heartbeat. That is discernment.

Agreed. Another issue which either noone thought about or perhaps the enemy had his hand in the reason for the "pole act" is the fact that in a gathering of that size, there would have undoubtedly been quite a few men who struggled (at least "secretly") with homosexuality. I don't understand in any shape form or fashion the reason for that choice of an opening of a Strengthening men's conference act. I mean why have a man rip off his shirt at a men's conference...unless it's a gay men's conference. So embarrassing on a host of levels.

I don’t even know who he is, but when I heard what he did I was proud of him at that moment. If a pastor wolf brings a male sword swallowing demon infested person In like that in to open up a meeting publicly, then that false pastor should be rebuked publicly and humble himself to repent, not send the person calling him out, out of the meeting. But since he did that, shame on all the men there who didn’t follow him and walk out of the meeting! Why would anyone sit under that kind of garbage? The lukewarm will be spit out of Gods mouth. Kudos to Driscoll whoever he is for this act of boldness. If this had happened privately in the pastors home, then a private rebuke would be in order. Since it was manifested publically in front of many, a public rebuke WAS the correct order Biblically.

Jesus is doing what He always does, making all things manifest. The wheat & tares have been growing together since He taught the parable. Pastor, you brought out the significance of the recent eclipse. It ties in to His teaching! The tares will be gathered into bundles to be burned at the end of the age, then the wheat is gathered into the Master's barn. We're largely concentrated in churches together now UNTIL HE RAPTURES OUT HIS FAITHFUL. The final community touched by that eclipse was named Burnt Church, because that's where the tares are bundled together. (As you can tell, I'm with you on pretrib.)

The pole dancing man to start the God centered service was egregious. Mark was not allowed the opportunity to complete his comments and the stop point was the point that appeared to be the most controversial. A few more moments of observational talk and bringing it back around to a Godly teachable moment would have been a completely different outcome.

I've been to a couple of these in Springfield and there have been little weird things like this thrown in randomly. Mostly with the music and the musicians they display. This was the nail in the coffin for that place. No more. Christ did not come to bring peace, but a sword. There is nothing wrong with dividing. It's healthy.

America is at a crossroad, either up or down. All these men could have been on their faces praying and crying out to God for repentance and mercy, instead they are being entertained with monster trucks and a pole dancing stripper. No wonder America is in the shape it is in. God have mercy on us all let there be enough of your people crying out to you and may You hear, have mercy and turn this country back to You. MERCY FATHER !!!!

The second I see a dude stripping on stage at a church, I would've walked out and never come back. John Liddell should repent and make a public apology for turning his church into a circus act. But seeing as he's been doubling down on the matter, he's making it obvious that his pride was hurt. And that's another big red flag in itself.

It is sickening to see this stuff in a church conference. What would Yeshua say if He was there? Then there is also no conviction or repentence after Mark points it out for what it is. This is the exact spirit of seduction that he was talking about.

Demetrius and Diotrephes, 3 John. Lindell throws Driscoll off the stage because HE is offended. Just like Diotrephes in 3 John throws leaders out of the church. Driscoll should not have apologized later. He was completely right. This Lindell fellow is a Diotrephes. Why would he WANT a sword swallower at a Christian Conference? His motives are not for God’s glory, but his own desires.

It should not have taken hours and hours to review that...with discernment from the Holy Spirit you would have known from the start. It's that simple and straight forward.

It the whole point is not about who rebuked whom and how, the enemy has shifted focus from the actual problem here - the sin and dishonor in the church. No one repented of the obvious sin, or said wow yes that’s grossly innapropriate and wrong in a Christian setting… but instead fighting over who addressed it right or wrong and taking sides - but it is not the focus here. The organizers of the conference knew exactly what they were doing and what the spiritual impact it has. God was not glorified there but the demonic spirit, and that’s the bottom line. Moreover when it was addressed , the organizers went to defend and justify it,instead of repenting , no fear of God… that says volumes.

Don't you think people were confused? They certainly weren't expecting that and probably didn't know how to interpret it or why it was done. The one doing it knew in his mind the message and he expected the audience to receive it the way he portrayed it. What did he expect? Fir them to walk our? They were at a men's Bible conference. Sometimes we understand the problems of accepting sin in the church. I'm guessing that's what it's about . He could have assumed too much.

Excellent takeaway and perspective of what happened. I hope millions of people watch your video here! As far as a male, pole dancing, sword swallowing performer doing his thing as an opening act for a men's conference is concerned, did those who put this conference together ever think that there could be men who struggle, or have struggled with homosexuality in the house? Then, what man, except one like that, would ever want to watch a dude take off his shirt, dance around half naked, swallow a sword, and then climb a stripper pole? I know that wouldn't be my greatest desire at a men's camp. In fact, I will be going to a men's camp in two weeks, and I sure hope there are no male stripping, pole dancing, sword swallowers as part of the entertainment.

What is sad, is that due to lack of understanding, God's people will perish. Spiritual Discernment is lacking. Seek ye first the kingdom and his righteousness and all things will be given unto thee. MEN, turn to the Lord and see the sins of your ways.

I thought I heard “get of the platform!” After mark left the platform. I thought it was directed at the pastor who was actually offended. I think pastor Driscoll handled it very humbly. The fact that there was division within the crowd shows there were many that lacked discernment. Culture has a spirit, and that was clearly a seductive Jezebel spirit. I was literally sick to my stomach from the images I’ve seen. No body has to tell me if that was wrong, the Holy Spirit inside of me convicts me of right and wrong. Boy the body of Christ better wake up, we need to armour up for what’s to come.

If I was there, and I saw that I would start screaming run and depart away from here run run run in the middle of the service. Are you serious things like this are so obvious worldly demonic and should be called out right there on the spot and the place should’ve emptied out the fact that the place didn’t empty out astound me.

The pastor was embarrassed. It would have been better if the pastor had stood up and repented for allowing this pole to be erected in the first place. There was a spirit of pride in the church exemplified in the pastor. It needed to happen. Satan was exposed.
