I think this is a great comprehensive review! First one I’ve watched where I feel like you discussed the cons of it being predictable.. plus I agree, the masses usually want the more attainable fragrances and don’t necessarily need Uber exclusive ones. But I do have this on the way to me and I’m super excited

I was debating on getting Angels Share but I think I’ll stick to Hermès Amber Narguile which lasts longer and is more interesting for my winter fragrance, which is cozy and sweet.

My own SA who sells this stuff has told me it’s a hard pass (it just smells like Pure Malt to him). He sent me some samples so I’m excited to have my own take. Thanks for the video!

That’s an interesting observation. I’d like to think that collectors would have a better feel of fragrances than SA’s, because they’re more inclined to experience the brand they work for as well as bias. Who knows you might like it.

The packaging of Angel’s share is as masculine as the Delina packaging is feminine although the scent is unisex. The plastic cap looks tacky, I wouldn’t want it on my dresser with my other perfumes. I really like this scent but I will have to settle for a decant. An SA at saks layered it with playing with the devil and it smells amazing.

OMG I do get the Baccarat vibe with this one! It's because I smell the sugary sweet smell and it's so similar to the cotton candy sweet smell from BR540!

I’m really sad about the plastic cap. I know I shouldn’t care, but the whole reason I’d go for something like Kilian over a Macy’s fragrance is because it is supposed to be a step above in every way. This bottle fails in that respect. I would gladly pay $50 extra for a glass cap version.

I think maybe in their analysis, they see that they can sell more at X price point and target that? That’s what I’d do. That said I do wonder if they have an opportunity to sell a limited run at +$100 or so with premium with glass and premium box displays. There’s lots of collectors and collectors like limited items

Man I was so disappointed with this. Way too much cinnamon. Too sweet. Sickly and headache inducing. Smells very synthetic. I don’t detect any booze. You just smell of a cinnamon bun or pastry. There is a slight nuance in the very background but it’s not boozy at all. The hype jobs boys in full effect with this. I so wanted to like this one. My wife got home and her response was it’s disgusting and she went and washed it off 😂 that was the nail in the coffin. I’ll be splitting or selling this.

Thank you for your feedback! I wouldn’t say it’s a full on hype job as we have a good amount of viewers with really good feedback. But having both sides is expected with any hyped fragrance. At least you get a good value splitting this or selling.

Interesting. Its not Single Malt for sure lol. Maybe the SA was just forcing your hand :) And yes, a friend of mine who had Spicebomb I contacted to ask about his thoughts and comparisons. Its hyped because of the aforementioned things I said (boozy Kilian hype, warming sweet notes) which is pretty obvious. And hey I'm just reporting what I find man, whatever it is you like doesn't have to agree with anything or anyone :) Enjoy your day!
