Oligarch is one word that quietly expresses well the contents of the bottle. 👌🏻 Without the need to exaggerate words about seas.... beaches.... islands.... vacations..... colors....coconut ..... pineapple ect..... MORE IS LESS

Thank you for the excellent review of this one. I think you put similar thoughts on it into words, better than I could have. This one is about clean, effortless status. An aromatic citrus that doesn't need to scream for hours - and folks who are going to whine about price to performance need not apply. This is one for someone who doesn't have to think about the price and wants you to be subtly aware of that throughout the whole conversation. It is a flex, and I don't think Roja's goal here was to please niche collectors so much as "that" demographic. Is that a good thing? Well, it depends. That sort of personality doesn't wear well on everyone, nor is it exactly universally liked, but I do think that demographic exists and will love this. Do I love this myself? Yes, honestly. I also love stuff that is 5-10% of the price of this and I get why it sees some hate in the community - but it's just too good.

How does this compare to Milisime Imperial? Does it smell even more natural?

You're right that it is the same as Oligarch Parfum, which replaced Oligarch EDP and was a slight improvement in that it was thicker and richer and didn't go so quickly into the dry down. To me it seems like a thicker more luxurious take on Kilian Lemon in Zest, which transitions from citruses to orange brandy and then to vetiver and cedar. I got about 6 h before it went into the grassy-woody dry down which lasted about another 3. I am very happy with it as it takes its place beside Xerjoff Fiero as my best 2 citrus aromatics. I also prefer it to Elysium and Oceania.

Hi Troy. I picked up this fragrance and find it to be too masculine on me. I do like it but find it difficult to wear. Any ideas on what I could layer with it to make it sweeter or more feminine?

And rightfully so with the current state of affairs with Russia be Ukraine. It was the right thing to do by Roja Dove to discontinue Oligarch. Relaunch or not i commend his stand.
