I’m back from my vacay and I’m back to reviewing and my next one is the latest Argos release, Fall of Phaeton! I quite liked this fall winter appropriate fragrance so here’s my complete breakdown of Fall of Phaeton start to finish! Enjoy!

Fall of Phaeton > Triumph of Bacchus. Love both but man Fall of Phaeton is so good.

I'm still a rookie frag head, but I ordered the Argos sample pack, as one of my first experiences with a niche fragrance house, and just went through them and picked my favorite to order a full bottle. I didn't read anything online, and just let my nose decide. I chose Bacio Immortale, with probably Adonis Awakens as my 2nd favorite, but I have two samples of Thrill of the Chase and Love Triumphs Over War, so I really like those too. I chose those as my free samples when I ordered the 100 ml Bacio Immortale. I didn't realize that Bacio Immortale was so similar to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, before I ordered it. I didn't actually smell Tuscan Leather until after I bought Bacio Immortale, and they do smell really similar. The main things I really like in both of those fragrances is the leather and raspberry and pink peppercorn notes, and I think oud, but I'm still not totally sure how oud smells. I do have a bottle of Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade, and also samples of their Fleur du Desert and Les Sables Roses, which have oud extract in them, and I also have Lattafa Oud for Glory. Talk about opposite ends of the price spectrum lol I've been on a big Louis Vuitton spree lately. I bought my three Louis Vuitton bottles over like the last three weeks, and I'm already planning on going back tomorrow to hopefully at least get to smell the new LVERS fragrance, and buy a bottle and get more free samples. I really want to get Nuit de Feu, since I smelled it last Wednesday. I can't stop thinking about it. I think I like it better than Ombre Nomade!

Really nice fragance, i got similar vibe to Danae which in my taste is the best from argos, i agree 100% full bottled worthy

Have Fall of Phaeton, and a sample of Triumph of Bacchus, but can't decide to get a bottle of Dane or Triumph of Bacchus next. Love Fall of Phaeton

@@michaela.5851 have you tried Bacio Immortale? That's my favorite Argos fragrance. I ordered the sample pack, and just went through it and that was my favorite, and the only one I've bought a full bottle so far. It smells a lot like Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, with the rich leather and sweet tart raspberry and pink peppercorn and oud.

Hello Troy! I enjoy Triumph of Bacchus and Adonis Awakens….I know this will be one of the Argos bestsellers. Planning to get Birth of Venus so I’ll be getting Fall of Phaeton sample. Have so much respect for this fragrance house. Thanks for another excellent review!

Have you tried Bacio Immortale? That's my favorite Argos fragrance I've tried, out of the sample pack. I haven't tried Nemean Lion or the extrait Triumph of Bacchus, since they weren't included in the sample pack. Bacio Immortale is really similar to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. I love the combination of leather and raspberry and pink peppercorn and oud.
