Did you notice how he always kept his arms crossed for about the first half of the interview? In this circumstance I suspect that it meant Troye felt vulnerable and was a bit intimidated by the interview. Which is interesting. Keeping ones arms crossed can also indicate skepticism about what's being said, but I don't think that applies here.

this gave me so many feels and nostalgia. i saw troye in concert the on oct 11 in montreal and just seeing him in real life made me feel some kind of way. hearing his voice at the concert made me think back to listening to his voice on youtube YEARS AGO. troye is just the smallest little bean and i love him so much but i dont even REALLY know him because ive only seen him through a screen. he's grown so much since the 2012 song to his newest fricking album, bloom. became so confident, has achieved so many amazing things, and has always been such a real person. i can never get over how he's just troye sivan and there's so many people like me who love him.

troye inspired me to come out to my family and friends when i was 15.... and when i changed school, i was already out and wanted people to accept me for who i am and not someone who i pretend to be. it was definitely a hard time, but now i got a lovely girlfriend and very supportive friends. and i am very grateful that my family is understanding. coming out was a hard time. but it is definitely worth it. ❤️☺️

Literally Troye was the reason I figured out who I was, I was watching him and I remember him uploading his coming out video and just... realising how he was feeling was how I was feeling. It was the first time I had ever related to anyone before, even before realising I needed someone to relate to at all. I’m also Australian and I’m bisexual, so just having someone I had been watching for ages feel the same way as me was a pivotal moment at a time that I needed support, from anyone, and honestly it helped me come out. I came out to my mum three weeks after troye uploaded his video, and I’d like to think it was ultimately because of him. I will forever and always be a supporter of troye through everything, always. I’m even getting a tattoo of his lyrics and I hope one day I can go see him live, maybe even meet him. One day. Point is, I hate people that say youtubers or celebrities can’t help you through things because they don’t actually know you, I beg to differ. When I needed support and comfort, troye and his music was there, even if he wasn’t physically. This video was truly nostalgia at its finest, and while I don’t exactly keep up to date with everything troye does nowadays like I used to, I’m so happy to see that he is the same person he has always been. Not that I thought he wouldn’t be. But anyways... Troye, you truly helped me become who I am today, at a moment in my life where I didn’t know who I was or where I wanted to go, and for that I will always be thankful.

An example of someone transitioning from KZbin to mainstream and is doing a beautiful job is Dodie Clark. I've been a fan of her for years and she's recently found some major buzz in her career and I'm so proud of that lady. I’ve always thought that Troye was amazing - musical and lyrical-wise, he makes some of the most incredible songs - but hearing his thought process is just... wow. Everything about this was just so... so nice, but especially more the part about his transition regarding his careers. It’s a given that if you’re super famous and recognized in one area, people would expect you to stay on that area - and even if you add some more skills to that, widen your reach, people would still expect you to keep it. But Troye KNEW and expected the backlash that happened and the way he thought, that no matter what, his thought that it was okay, because if you genuinely keep at it, there would be someone who would listen or something, it’s so... it tugged my heartstrings so much. Troye is a musical genius. He’s not ridiculously mainstream - though he did blew up with youth - but I think that he will become incredibly phenomenal soon. His music, the lyrics, the songs, his voice - he has it all. And his attitude and genuine passion for singing will really take him far. There’s a reason why all these famous artists also admire him - because troye IS It. I’m rewatching all his videos and would continue to marathon his stuff in this week and I’m just... amazed at how far he’s gotten - and how I feel like he’ll really just go even further. He has the talent, the charm, the personality and the hard work for it. His hard work will definitely continue to pay off and this is thinking way too much in the future, but I can already imagine him getting several Grammys in the future, once he gets another hit which can become bigger than even youth. (maybe an Oscar, too? hah) And also, I’m really happy to see this interview with Caspar. Caspar was like, the KZbinr that I was obsessed with when I was in high school. And also this interview is both so informative and wholesome and both of you had gotten so far. Ahh... this is just so much a good video all around.

I used to watch all Troye's videos multiple times, but i listen to his songs even more often. So sure i miss his funny videos, but he has just gone on to create something else that i love
