One of your girls is basically talking about experiences that gay men usually have with ‘straight’ guys that are either temporarily confused or somewhere on the sexuality spectrum. So Troye is talking about a desire for such a person he met. A lot of gay guys will unknowingly fall for such guys only to realise that they are straight later on. In a way it’s realising that fantasy but also talking about a feeling that gay guys may feel, like unable to be with their crush because they are straight and wishing they were one of his girls. It’s the same as girls who fall for gay guys and wish their crush was straight

I definitely understand! I feel like it can be hard sometimes for men to also come out as something other than “gay”. Like bisexual or pansexual for example. While on the flip, others assume if a women like girls then she’s bisexual. As a lesbian who has gay friends, I can definitely confirm what you are saying!💯

He decided to put that almost sad robotic synth element into one of your girls to show that there is sadness in this and Troye explains he would sometimes feel empty when he had to keep things a secret or be something different just to please a guy he really wanted.
