Does the upper sensor need to be on the cat itself? If not can I diy for the sensor onto a pipe and put a after market cat that doesn't have the hole for the sensor?

Why not just take the cat converter off and then take out the O2 sensor?

Yea it should especially if it's just a base model it might have like S for sedan on the title.

Even if it's directly a base model it should fit most 2.0s between 11'-15'
